Something I really like about Monster is that they gave Tenma a child sidekick and they actually made him likeable. They could have easily gone down the road of making him annoying and clingy, but he’s quickly become my favourite character in the show.

#callum and rayla#they don’t bother me as much anymore#but I’ve always found it disappointing that the dragon prince is know for their diverse cast when it comes to queer people#but they still did the whole ‘male and female protagonist get together because they’re the main characters and they’re the opposite gender’#it just felt obligatory to me#and they were a lot more interesting as friends#There’s a rumour that the writers didn’t plan on pairing them together at first#and if that’s true then it makes a lot of sense#didn’t mean to go on a rant#oh well
