Just looked up the exact meaning of "troglodyte" and I am in dismay. I always imagined it might refer to some sort of organism from the primordial oceans or something?? That's what "troglodyte" evokes. Extinct creature on the sea floor with no brain. "Caveman but fancy" hits so much worse as an insult :(

Lonni's face journey when Luthen silently appears at his shoulder is one of my favorite little moments in the whole show. I REALLY like how Luthen successfully plays down his threat level all the time when he's out in public, to the point where you might not even realize he's particularly tall, and then scenes like this - often involving Lonni - just go crazy with the shots that make him as truly imposing as he is. The way he's a dark contrast against Lonni and the rest of the room. The way he decides to just loom there. It scratches my brain. It's so INTENTIONAL. The menace Lonni feels from every direction at this party is insane and I just love how subtly shots like this bring that across <3
