Finally getting around to watching Agatha All Along and it’s very weird knowing things but NOT knowing things

Like I don’t know what’s with the wavey atmosphere when they say certain shit mystery vs I know exactly who these characters are “mystery”

#Status Update #I don’t have a general Rocket watches tage oh well #I do think this is the most like. comic-booky thing I’ve seen of marvels in a bit #in that there’s not a ton of character development because you need the characters to be the draw for the story you know #right cause comics have this kinda weird catch-22 story of You Need Batman to Be Batman but you need to also give him an arc?#I wish they had developed the Nicky/Billy parallel more #I didn’t find Billy nearly as annoying as I thought he would be #but I did like the Nicky/Billy/Agatha parallels with Alice and her mom brief as they were #the finale was a little meh but I’m so glad Jen didn’t fucking die?????#anyways decent will probably watch again but I definitely liked WandaVision better as a piece of television media #I don't know how I didn't realize the wavey atmosphere was Billy's magic silly me #although in my defense I don't think I've ever read anything he's in just kinda like. know he exists #so Scarlet Witch Lite was not exactly on my radar but oh well #still fun still enjoyed

Suh Ankripton: The New Kryptonian Language from Superman

The latest from Jessie and me is Suh Ankripton: the new Kryptonian language from Superman (2025). It shows up in a key (but minor) way in the new film, though you'll hear it again in future (and a lot more of it). It's head-initial: SVO and inflectional, with verbs that are meatier than we expected... Eventually I'll put the dialogue from the movie up on my AO3, but I want to wait until people have had a chance to see it, as the dialogue plays a key role in the film. Look for that in the coming weeks!
