Junker queen: she's always wanted a dog, and after being introduced to a new game by y/n she decided on the one she wanted. A German Shepard! She did a ton of research on them and got one from a shelter with only three legs, she ended up creating a junker leg for it and help from mercy getting it attached safely. She named him Dogmeat, based on her new favorite game, fallout 4.

Orisa: she wasn't big on the idea of having a pet, due to the fear of her size being an issue for such a small creature. However that changed when she encountered a Boston terrier puppy on a mission last spring. The small dog was full of energy and refused to leave Orisas side even when she tried to shoot it away. But eventually followed her onto the airship where she gave him and wanted to take care of them. She eventually named him Winston after an animated short film about a Boston terrier that another overwatch agent had shown her. (Much to Winston's confusion.)

Ramattra: He has an ant farm that was gifted to him from y/n after he mentioned his fascination of the tiny creatures. He cares for them dearly, and is often dozing off just watching them work throughout their colony in his office. He's not named them, as there is far too many, but when he's observing them you can faintly catch him mumbling their job titles with praise.

Reinhardt: He's got a sweet old golden retriever he rescued from a shelter, she was twelve when he adopted her and no one seemed to want the older dog which broke his heart. He was told to expect maybe another good year or two before the 'inevitable', however she's turning sixteen in a week now. Her name is Tillie.

Zarya: she took in an adult cat from a fellow agent that had sadly fallen in battle, one she was relatively close to. The cat was a nebelung and quite pampered, however he seems to adora Zarya as much as she does him. An elegant grey ball of fluff that constantly curls up to her side after her training sessions or missions. His name is Pietro, and for some reason he does not seem to like Ramattra.

Roadhog: he has two rats, one is a light cream color with a darker brown splotch on his right side. And the other is white and black spotted with little streaks of brown by her tail. Their names are junk and pile, and he found them in a box in the rain while on a mission. No one really noticed at first when he had gotten back on the airship until they were about halfway back to base and realized he was holding his hands out and just staring at was in his palms. Every now and again you'll see him walking around base with them on his shoulders and they just sit there and observe.

D.va: she has a bunny, it's actually one that she unintentionally saved while on a raiding mission against Talon. She ended up in moira's lab which had been abandoned when the alarms were set off, and it was the only one that seemed to be left in the room inside a cage where it was scared and hiding in the corner. Her name is June and she enjoys occasionally riding in D.vas mech with her. June absolutely hates hearing the name Moira now.

Sigma: he has a betta fish, specifically an alien betta. Sombra noticed that sigma had been pretty lonely while doing research in his lab on his own. So she surprised him with a whole betta setup, and made sure he knew everything that was needed to take care of it. It was a brilliant green color and sigma was overjoyed when she presented him the fish. He adoringly named her plutonium, and spends hours upon hours just talking to his betta fish about all of his research and findings and hypotheses. Plutonium does respond by swimming in circles whenever he gets excited and if she's bored she floats upside down.

Y/n: Yeah, you did.. but, like I said it's just-

Hana: Yeah yeah, just a crush sure. But, I mean come on! You liking anyone is a miracle of its own but LUCIO?!

Y/n: GAH- can you not Shout his name please?!

Hana: Oop- ha, sorry. But seriously! You've got a crush on our designated music man?

Y/n: Well.. I mean yeah, we've been getting out on a lot of missions together lately and sometimes I'm a bit nervous before hand so he's been letting me listen to music on the way there to help calm me down and then.. well we got to talking and such and he's really interesting and ya know he's always been cute and- GAH im rambling! *Hiding their face while Hana is grinning like a madwoman*

Hana: So what I'm hearing is, you've gotten to know him and he's gotten to know you and nowwww we just need to find out if he feels the same?

Y/n: Oh lord, no Hana, please.. I couldnt. I don't need to know anything, for all I know he's just been very nice this whole time and it's one sided and I don't want it to be awkward..

Hana: Oh don't worry! You, don't need to do anything but stay here. Detective Hana is on the case, I'm a master of stealth and information gathering. He'll tell me everything without even knowing it.

**Later that night**

In the common room, Hana finally found Lucio who was scrolling through his phone while listening to music.

Hana: Hey Lucio! *Plops down next to him, scaring him out of his thoughts*

Lucio: Woah- oh! Hey Hana! What's up?

Hana: Oh nothing much, just been wandering around bored. How bout you?

Lucio: Oh ya know, just- listening to music, the usual. *Hana goes to look over his shoulder, but he leans the phone away a bit*

S-so uh, was there- did you- uh, didja need something?

Hana: Yes actually. *Stares at him squinting*

Lucio: Okay..? And that is?

Hana: Do you like y/n? *Lucio chokes on nothing trying to suck on a breath at hanas forwardness*

Lucio: Do i- huh?? Where'd you get that from? Why do you ask?

Hana: You're so nervous, so I take that as a yes? *Smirking at her totally "stealthy" accomplishment*

Lucio: *Sighs, setting his phone down and nodding* yeah, you got me. I've actually been trying to tell them for like, a week now but every time I try I get all jumbled up and can't get it out right. So, all day I've been putting together a playlist of songs that actually fit their vibe but also spell out what I'm tryin to say.

Hana: That's actually so cute, omg.. they'll be so happy, you totally gotta finish it and send it to them! *Hopping on the couch in happiness*

Lucio: Whoa wait, back it up, they'd actually be happy? Wait a minute, did they say something about me?

Hana: *Sweating in nervousness* uh- no? Oh wow look at the time! I've gotta go walk my mech, see ya later! *Bolts out of the room, leaving a blinking Lucio behind.

Lucio: Man, what?

**The next day, Hana returns from a last minute overnight mission.

Y/n: HANA

Hana: What- huh? What'd I do?! *Notices it's y/n running towards her* oh crap.

Y/n: HANA YOUR STEALTH SUCKS BUT I LOVE YOU

Hana: *Completely confused now as she's getting shaken back and forth* what even, huh??

Y/n: Lucio, he came to my room last night sometime after you and the others left for the mission and he sent me a playlist.. it was so sweet and had so many good songs but then all the titles clicked and he likes me back.. and after we talked about all that he also mentioned your not so subtle way of asking about his feelings.

Hana: *Nervous laughter* haha, yeaaaa.. well I mean it all worked out, yea?..

Y/n: Yes, yes it did. Now, you go get your rest. I'll be with Lucio in the library if you need me.

🪨Venture (OW II) x (gn) reader headcanons⛏️

(Start of Romantic Relationship Pt. 1 Edition!)

(Venture has to be one of the only characters that have made me write this frequently with little to no period of resting before jumping into another post than any other character.)

- Besides the previous jitters they had when they were trying to confess (confession here), they’re so loud and proud about you.

- On the list of subjects they just love to talk about, you’re high on that list.

- They just love you so much you know?

- Spending time with you is the highlight of their day, anywhere, even on the battlefield when they’re getting the shit knocked out of them by Reinhardt.

- On top of that, if the situation allows it, they love to be touching you in some way, whether it be holding hands, placing a hand on your thigh, wrapping their arm around your shoulders, etc.

- They think of you so highly, this does not go away as the relationship between you two progresses, trust.

- Never stops adoring you, and never stops sharing their thoughts with you either. Whether it be about certain types of rocks, artifacts, historical architecture, anything that pops in their brain and they’re in your presence…

- You best believe they’re gonna share it with you first than anyone else.

- Oh and you guys know Rosetta right? Y’all have rock kids together, that’s just fact.

- They all have their own names and their own special spots everywhere in the places you guys reside (together or separately).

- Started collecting them as a monthly anniversary tradition that went off the rails the second they brought one to you.

- You both take some of them to missions together (this is if you guys work together ofc) to gush over them like the proud parents you are.

- Love letters? Love letters, love letters coming from them come in several forms.

- The most common being sticky notes that consist of words of encouragement and flirting that usually has a rock pun in it.

- Like stupidly lame yet equally as cute puns, You can’t tell me they wouldn’t write “Sedimentary rock has got nothing on the many layers of your amazing personality! :D” or “Baby, you rock my world!”

- If they’re in charge of packing your lunch or something, expect notes like this on top of chocolate rocks, gummy worms, orange slices, bag of your favorite chips, and a hoagie sandwich.

- Nothing cooked cause I wouldn’t trust them with a stove.

- They understand if you want to take things slow, but they can’t resist thinking about the future.

- They can’t imagine a life without you in it!

- They’re in this for the endgame, they adore and love you so much, jumping at the chance to show it in any way possible!

Her eyes were captivating, her words like a sirens call, everything about her was shrouded in a thick purple mist and yet amungst the mist came a golden glow every now and again. Its what kept you from leaving, stopping you from moving past this interest.

However, this interest wasn't one sided. Oh no, having been a scientist yourself you were already of interest to the geneticist. But after finding out that you yourself had tested your hypothesis on yourself, she took greater interest. The study of animal biology was always a fascination of yours, which only grew and you discovered more. However your interests were peeked once more by the mere thought of DNA splicing. It has been done before, by man as well as in nature through breeding.

Though, seeing if results would pull from natural occurrences proved to take far too long for your liking. So you took to use yourself as a guinea pig. You had conducted tests with your DNA and attempted splicing it with different animals to see if it was possible, and with quite a few failures there was development. Your DNA seemed to be compatible with that of several different animals, though the most successful had been that of a feline. With your newly collected data you took to a higher risk experiment, live documentation. Sure your preserved cells could coexist and mesh with other preserved cells, but the true test was if it could alter the DNA in real time.

So you did, your science team at the time had already been worried about the turn your research had taken, though their fears became reality when they had found the research center in shambles the following month after you started your live testing in 'secret' after hours. It had worked, the DNA had eventually fused with your own and bonded with your own cells, causing a mutation. This caught the attention of Talon, more specifically, moira's attention.

After the destruction of the lab you had been previously working in, which you had taken the notes necessary and destroyed the rest, you went into hiding. Though with Sombra, you were eventually found. What they discovered was not what they expected, however, Moira was ecstatic. You had gone from a regular human scientist to a vision of DNA splicing beauty, a human/tiger hybrid. Your entire body was now covered in a layer of white and black striped fur, your eyes while still the same e/c color had sharpened pupils and the addition of claws, ears and a tail all stood out. After some discussions with talons leader, maximilion, you decided to join talon. Seeing as he agrees to keep funding your research, stating that it could benefit their cause and help with enhancements of soldiers.

This was how you met Moira, their designated healer and scientist. You since spent many a nights picking each other's brains of your knowledge and pulling all nighters to continue collecting more data on your respected ideologies. In this time you grew close, closer than anyone expected would happen with the usually closed off doctor. Still a slight shock even three years later, members of Talon now sat in isles as you and Moira stood across from each other, exchanging vows in front of Ramattra. You both were now able to, even though you had already planned to, free to spend the rest of your lives together experimenting to your heart's content.
