Another crocheted sweater! ʕ •ᴥ•ʔ <3 ࿐༄࿔*:･. I wanted to use my various green yarns to make a cardigan this time. It's very thick and cozy with plenty of room, and I practised a bunch of different stitches I learned recently.

It's sort of wonky (as are a lot of my crafts, especially clothing), but it's perfectly wearable and I'm very happy with how it turned out. I also love how all the colours and textures go together! <|:^)

mod podge some paper and hot glued some moss (NOT to the wall, just card stock behind the moss to support and connect it to the case of the lightswich. is it called a case or does it have a name? I'm tired ha)

make a sun catcher with some of the broken glass I've collected

I like to collect broken glass when I go out like, hiking or playing in creeks. creeks are the best cause its as close to sea glass as I can get where I live :) I've had the idea of a sun catcher for ages and finally tried it out!! I just wire wrapped them with scrap wire and tied them to a hunk of wood I found in the back yard.

here’s my very, VERY (we’re talking 2 hours total) hastily made mech’s patch i panic embroidered after realising my favourite trousers had a hole on the ass and my replacement ones were NOT gonna get there in time for the party I have this afternoon!

V stressful few hours but ey, we got it done, and I’ve still got half an hour to get ready before I leave!

Helloooooo bleached hoodie for your consideration

I put a bunch of leaves of my hoodie and and sprayed it with bleach :) !!! came out messy but I like it !!!

The back is supposed to say "For few can take a dying world and still with beauty fill it" (one of my all time favorite Mechanisms lines from Pellinore and the Beast) but I messed it up a bit. I might make it clearer with fabric paint eventually.

@navigatorsghost aaaaaaaaaa tysm!!!! dw I love explaing the process for my projects when I have the spoons :)

basically I took an old headband and attached the antlers to the bottom, and wore the headband around the back of my head! i hide the headband parts in my hair to make it look like its growing from my head. (the original headband came with the antlers but it looked cheap and stuck straight up from your head, so I tore it apart and repainted everything and added little vines.)

(the antlers are attached to the headband with layers of hot glue, felt, tape, and sheer willpower- I wouldn't exactly recommend it, but it works well enough for me lmao)

here's what wearing it looks like without my hair hiding anything (also i apologize for any poor photo quality, my camera lens has shattered since the orginal photos lmao):

and here's the whole shebang by itself:

too secure it (bc the antlers weigh the headband down and it'll slip down and fall off if worn on its own like this) I usually tie little ponytails around it with tiny elastics (at least three- one in the back, and one around each antler). you can see the back one in this photo:

the headband is basically threaded through the ponytail hair this way, so my hair holds the headband in place! if i have the time, energy, and hair length, I would go for little braids instead, but the ponytails are quicker.

(also, for the vines- hot glued those down, the wrapped the whole headband in black ribbon to make it look smoother whenever it is visible. the places the vines are attached are hidden under the ribbon, which also secures the vines better so they don't accidentally get ripped off.)
