i'm a buddie shipper, btw. don't want any bts finding this and thinking i'm being anti buddie when i've been with this ship for seven years. i'm just dooming on main. i'm just angry, but give me two weeks and i will be back with my stockholm syndrome tv show and my clowning. i rather die than be taken as a bt truther or siding with them when i hate them all. hope that helps too.
"this isn't queerbaiting", "we are closer than ever", "buddie canon s9". you are suffering from stockholm syndrome from a tv show. they are never going canon. hope that helps.

Okay, let me see it I understood things correctly. One day last year Tim watched vertigo, decided he wanted to recreate it, allegedly wrote the plotline for it in 48 hours, knew he needed 5 episodes to pull it off but did it in 3 anyway, ended up cutting the scene that would've made the plot make sense and a kiss but not the fallout of the kiss happening, gave Eddie a mustache and said it was a manifestation of something inside of Eddie, didn't move his plot with Chris at all until 4 episodes into the season, had Eddie confront his catholic guilt and self punishing tendency, established that Eddie is denying himself joy, then had Eddie decide to move to Texas even though Chris didn't move to Texas because he wanted to be in Texas, he did it because he wanted to get away from Eddie, didn't show us Chris deciding to forgive Eddie, made the move to Texas about Buck, had Buck fully spiral, but didn't show us Eddie's feelings about it, made the thing in Texas about Eddie dad'ing up and not about the Shannon doppelganger telenovela plot, showed us that Chris isn't really thriving in Texas, fully took Eddie off the board, brought Eddie back because Bobby died, had Eddie take a job in Texas, just for the resolution to be Chim yelling at him that he is not going back to Texas without a single conversation? And ended it with Buck possibly moving out because they haven't built a set for his new place yet but where is Buck even staying until then? What?

season 9 wishlist: stop tim from watching new movies, hire someone to whack him in the head every time he wants to drop a storyline because he lost interest, ban last minute montages

at this point, it looks like the actual ‘will they/won’t they’ is not about buck and eddie but about oliver and ryan.
#i don't like to ship real people but#yeah#i do sometimes think about ryliver being more canon than buddie

sure ok. why did eddie even go to texas then? why set up that he’s gonna choose to stay with the 118 (not even like. a buddie thing specifically) for himself because thats where he belongs and then instead he’s forced to stay by CHIMNEY??? why did bobby die?? why did athena sell their house? why did eddie go to texas?? why was eddie going to texas buck’s entire storyline for the season? why chekovs el paso fire employee who abandoned them for a wife in another state? why did eddie tell buck he wasn’t going to make him move out if he came back and then he moved out?? why did bobby die in the middle of a season of rat disease?? why the silly and flippant tone after bobby died? why the 4 minute funeral? why the theme of people returning? why the grahambobby parallel except he lives??? why did athena take bobby’s body to minnesota? how is maddie already giving birth?? how long was eddie in texas? why didn’t chris ever express any desire to move back to LA ?? why did hen do literally nothing all season?? why did bobby die? why did eddie go to texas?

okay and maybe you are all going to look at me like i’m crazy. I think they were 1 billion% going to do buddie canon this season and were going to start following through on it in 812 but then for some reason tim decided to kill bobby. like bobby didn’t die for buddie canon. buddie canon died for dead bobby. which is worse.

i’ll be happy however buddie goes canon even if it’s not the right way (passionate heat of the moment almost-kiss that gets interrupted and they aren’t able to talk about it it for hours or perhaps even days and then when they finally do it’s a little awkward at first and buck starts apologizing and then eddie kisses him and then they talk about it and confess their feelings but neither of them say the l-word and they decide to start a relationship but keep it on the down low and it’s so hard for them to keep it a secret but they do anyway and they act all cute but weird around each other on shift but everybody chalks it up to typical buck and eddie weirdness and then when they realize it’s for real they decide to sit christopher down and tell him and chris is like we live together. i thought this was already a thing. and then buck and eddie are so happy because at least it’s not a secret from one person they love and they fall so easily into a rhythm of domesticity where they cook together and it’s been a few weeks and they’ve been you know intimate together before a few times but nothing big and one night they’re home alone and it gets heated quickly and they start getting freaky and theyre a little drunk and the next morning eddie wakes up to his phone ringing and he answers it without looking at it and his groggy “hello?” is met with maddie saying “who is this?” and eddie panics and realizes he got bucks phone so he jostles buck awake and hands him the phone and buck is confused and maddie is confused and eddie is hungover and maddie starts interrogating buck because she realizes it was eddie and buck stutters through some random excuses and as he’s trying to make his way through a full sentence eddie just kind of stops and looks at him really fondly and buck sees him and he slowly goes “yeah… we’re together” and maddie understandably starts freaking out but he just says he’ll talk to her later and hangs up the phone and they kiss and then later they’re at work and chimney is looking at them funny and they’re just like. so maddie told you and he’s like. no. what. told me what? no. but they just laugh and say it’s okay for him to tell people and he says “oh thank god” and runs off and they hear hen shout “WHAT?” from upstairs and then bobby calls them into his office and makes them sign paper work and then)… sorry.. i lost my train of thought. what was i talking about? something normal i hope. i am normal

the first night eddie and chris are home, chris has gone to bed, and buck and eddie are in the kitchen nursing their second beers. "so," buck says, "ballroom dancing?" he's smirking, but there's bite to it, like he's poking at eddie, forcing them closer to an edge to prove they won't fall off. and eddie groans, but he's saying "fuck off, it's actually hard. you'd suck at it." and that gets buck, he knew it would, lights the competitive fuse that never seems to run out. buck says "oh yeah? teach me then," and eddie says "your funeral." and he pulls buck into his arms, moves his hands where they're supposed to go, and maybe it's closer than they're used to but they haven't been in the same room in so long, it's barely satisfying. buck isn't letting it feel intimate, anyway, with how focused he is, how rigid. eddie tells him rigidity is not helping, but. that doesn't help either. and after a while of buck stumbling through different styles and stepping on eddie's feet, buck is pouting and eddie is laughing at him, and eddie says, "god, you're hopeless. just, fuck off, come here." and he pulls buck closer, puts buck's arms around his neck and wraps his own around buck's waist. "think you can handle this? just a little sway back and forth, barely a step." and maybe buck is just tired, but the tension and rigidity finally melt away, and they're swaying. and buck's eyes are big and wet and his cheeks are pink and his lips are bitten red with frustration. and maybe this worked better than eddie planned.
