Capybara Wisdom and Human Sports
If capybaras' "wisdom" is to prioritize external threats by minimizing internal conflict, then human sports could be seen as our version of achieving that same goal. We, too, recognize that unchecked intra-species aggression is detrimental to the species. Therefore, we developed these sophisticated, ritualized forms of "play-fighting" and "mock-hunting" to channel our competitive drives, build skills, and strengthen social bonds without tearing ourselves apart.
It's a testament to the evolutionary pressures on social species to find ways to maintain cohesion even in the face of inherent competitive drives. The capybara, in its natural simplicity, exemplifies a highly successful strategy for this. Humans, with our greater cognitive complexity and capacity for both extreme cooperation and extreme violence, developed a more elaborate, yet fundamentally similar, solution in the form of sports.

wish humans would stop being biased against Black artists so Kendrick could go back to rapping about real genius shit and not stupid Drake shit. I don't even care about Drake except for Kendrick.

Parents who are afraid of "phases" aren't so much concerned about their kids' well-being -- they're afraid of potentially having to adopt a whole new lifestyle and mindset to accommodate the kid only to have it flipped like a table when the next "trend" comes along. It's largely about their own personal comfort and inertia, but this is unconscious. They look at the wonderful adventure of life and see an intolerable roller coaster.
“what if kids identify with something and it ends up just being a phase-?” good. stop teaching and expecting kids (and adults honestly) to formulate permanent traits and ideas of themselves. everything in life is a phase. that doesn’t make it any less legitimate while you experience it. let people explore themselves and know it’s okay if what you think about yourself changes.

This is like when Vishnu, the maintainer of the universe, became a huge boar to rescue the Earth which had fallen into the Causal Ocean of the universe due to a demon. The boar fought the demon and then dug the Earth up with its tusks and put it back in the heavens. Also, the great serpent Ananta Sesa carries a tiny universe on each of its thousand heads.

what if the vagus nerve is like a microphone from the gut biome to the amygdala and the capybara's gut biome is basically overriding alarm signals via the vagus nerve because it's more advantageous for microbes to be eaten by a predator than to experience stress-related disruptions due to flight or fight reactions?

The fun thing about #nagitowasright is that he can still be a creepy kid who wanted to be chaotic in very dark ways. Alastor from Hazbin Hotel was "helping souls" but also being terrifyingly twisted about it. They both believe that everyone is nice to those they deem "worthy" and not nice to those they deem "unworthy," so the idea is that they do it better than other people by being idealistic about it. They judge "worthiness" in a purer sense than people who do it based on things like wealth or beauty. I don't know if they're absolutely correct, but I think they have a point.
Nagito, despite his unsettling nature, possessed a form of radical clarity – a deep understanding of the human condition under pressure that was inconvenient but ultimately correct. His "odd man out" status was precisely because he grasped a truth that others were unwilling or unable to confront, and that prevented them from reaching their full potential for hope and collective action.
