I've poured a lot into this visual novel over the past years - writing, editing, coordinating, testing... It was the story I really wanted to tell, and I hope you'll enjoy the finished version.

The first ever otome game-themed Steam festival, Otome Games Celebration, is now live on Steam!

What are otome games? They're romance-driven games where the player can play as a woman and pursue romantic relationships, with a focus on men as love interests. Our festival showcases the wide world of otome, with some of the games featuring customizable main characters, love interests with a variety of genders, and more.

Over 100+ otome games agreed to take part in the event from 80+ developers, with titles from BUSTAFELLOWS to A Date with Death to Royal Alchemist and more. The event will go for a full week, May 19-26. We have otome on sale, free otome, upcoming otome demos, and more!

One of the pain points of finding visual novels & otome on Steam is the lackluster categorization that doesn't allow for finding the specific story genres you want to find. To try to counter that, I've created lots of widgets separated by story genres, such as a fantasy category, cute & comfy, and more. We even have categories for games with customizable MCs, all male love interests, and more!

Hello everyone! If you enjoyed Demonheart, I've got exciting news - Demonheart: The Cursed Trial has just been finished with its final chapter now live!🥳

What is it about? A demonspawn we know from before has captured some humans and keeps them trapped. He urges them to fight among themselves. Your character (with a customizable name) can start a romance with one of two captives who may or may not be bad guys… And more.

Why check it out now? The full story is complete! No more waiting for updates! *The game will still be in early access until we get some voice acting and fix any potential issues.

Replaying Demonheart: The Cursed Trial, Chapter 1

Today I disguised myself as a player and tried to imagine I was playing the Cursed Trial for the first time.

Sharing screenshots and some comments...

Strong woman Aeryn. I can see why after this introduction, some players were expecting Aeryn to be stronger. But the plot has to plot, at least until the ending gets closer 😶

"Operate." Vita not being suspicious at all.

Why did I take so many screenshots of Vita? 🧐

Added a choice - "No, I haven't." Why were the only choices like "Yes, I have" and being unpleasant? 😅

Somehow, I found the choices here lacking. The first option was supposed to be the non-rude one. He didn't deserve any better, considering he just tried to punch Ran for no reason, but...

I still added a "yes, daddy" type of answer. For no reason, other than I know the rat man has his fans. 🥲 Why would we say this? IDK, but we can.

One of my weird favorite moments.

(Inside info: Leona teasing Ran about his crush on Aeryn means she's not in love with him. Also, she's not surprised by his crush, like she already knew.)

She was so needlessly rude, where did that come from? But it appears Kaisar is totally used to it.

"Didn't speak much, so that was good." 😭

The whole game was supposed to be based on this. Seven "companions" + a traitor. Of course, it's just a song, and it's not about them. But it's a nice way to get them paranoid. 😇

Another one of my favorite weird lines. (I just edited it, it used to say "Let *the* dead dogs lie." I can't seem to decide.)

Demonheart: The Cursed Trial - Chapter 5 coming soon!

I'm thrilled to announce that the text for Demonheart: The Cursed Trial, Chapter 5 is not only finished but also fully scripted into the game (at least for me!)

I'm excited to be one step closer to sharing it with all of you.

While the text is pretty much done, as usual, there's still some polishing work ahead. The next steps involve thorough testing and tweaking. I'll also be adding the final touches like music, sound effects, and any missing choices. :')
