Okay. That’s It!

I’m tired of not being able to access my account fast enough. So you know what I’m gonna do? I’m gonna make a new account. This account will still be up, but I kind of want a fresh new blog, so I have the drive to continue posting. I hated leaving my blog unattended to and just empty for so long, so this will be my new account:

I’ve had this on my mind for awhile, but this set of characterizations seems about right. 

Logan=Sniper

Patton=Pyromaniac

Roman=Engineer

Virgil=Demoman

Deceit=Spy

Nate=Soldier

Remy=Scout

Dr. Picani=Medic

Oven?=Heavy (I really don’t know who would be a good heavy...)

Fair point LJ! That makes perfect sense.

i was gonna make a post about how, as patton and virgil have had the predominant arcs they’ve had the predominant amount of screen attention, and thereby have become sort of the default fandom favorites, but now patton and virgil are stepping back, so to speak, and the focus is on the logan/roman arcs people have been talking about how patton and virgil are being ignored when in reality it’s just not their arc time anymore. 

and also how when roman and logan (admittedly, logan is my favorite, and i’ve been excited for roman’s arc for a long time) had predominant screen time in why do we get out of bed in the morning/crofter’s the musical, i saw so many more posts about the absence of patton and virgil/the patton virgil pun bit at the end than about the video/speculation about the logan or roman arc/logan and roman content (which admittedly might have been due to the people i was following at the time)

plus, i mean. i’m really excited to see what thomas and joan have in store for this, too! they’ve been working at these arcs for a really long time! and i think people should… i mean, regardless, we’re all gonna enjoy it, but… keep your mind open, i guess? is what i’m saying here?

i do really genuinely like patton and virgil, and people of course have their favorites!! but also i… i just kinda want to draw attention to that, i guess? that just because roman and logan are finally getting screen time that the fandom is accustomed to being given to virgil/patton, it doesn’t mean that patton and virgil are… being ignored, or less important. it’s just… not their arc.

*creeps out of the void* I was going through a marathon of Sander’s Sides when I noticed something odd. In the Christmas video when Roman tries to reason with everyone that Virgil’s line was funny, Thomas shoots back “No.” at Roman right? But get this! That “No!” was actually in Roman’s voice. Can the sides actually rebuke themselves through Thomas? And if so, was that what Roman was doing? Punishing himself because he didn’t think up something good enough for Virgil? *Creeps back into the void* Take this as you will.
