❝ -- “You don’t.. You don’t know what you’re signing yourself up for..” Elizabeth mumbled, closing her eyes a moment with a guilt-stricken expression before letting her emotional blue eyes return forward to the stranger pacing the room.

“Desmond..” She let the name settle for a moment before stepping a tad closer and shaking the other’s hand briefly, her pinky concealed with a thimble passing into view before she returned her hands to linger at the sides of her corset drawn waist. “My name is Elizabeth; but you knew that already.” The young woman began, looking around a moment before spotting a handbag on a nearby bench, the clack of her heels hastened as she dashed over to grab whatever could have been inside. A twinkle of hope seemed to raise the Lamb’s spirit as she removed a small gun from the handbag, a small whistle escaping her lips.  “Whomever this belonged to was either paranoid, or undoubtedly prepared..” Standing back up straight, Elizabeth tossed the gun over to Desmond carefully and with an arch so it could land in his palm perfectly, the young woman letting out a small but sincere, “Mr.Miles, catch!” Noting that it had landed in Desmond’s hand, she walked back over to the man before herself and sighed, her eyes lingering at her shoes before she finally remained focus with her new partner in crime. “Are you.. are you sure about this?” -- ❞

Stop and read this, please.

Please don’t skip over this, I would really appreciate you reading why getting a commission from you has more to do with just money.

There is never an easy way to put this other than the hard truth of it all. My home situation is not great, and it hasn’t been for years. But I am someone that has graduated high school, and it’s hard to find a job in my situation. I’m still looking, but I need you to hear me out first.

For the past five years, finances have been a struggle in my home. Whoop-dee-do, not a big deal right?That’s not my problem. What is: I have a family that has become dependent on me. In normal circumstances, this is not an issue, but in my case. I have to clean up after my parents that are 36+ years old, and my grandmother (she’s 57+) as they are all alcoholics. I have become the only one available to take care of them. I also have a 10+ year-old brother who I homeschool and have helped raise for as long as I can remember. Every day I need to clean about 8+ hours because they continue to dirty the home they live, knowing that I am expected to clean up after them. It’s equivalent to being used, but there’s nothing I can do about it as I do not have the privilege to complain in my situation.

Anyways, away from that problem, my real issue is this:

My step-father and grandmother are verbally and emotionally abusive when drunk, to the point that it has even started fights with things breaking that are well over $200. Every night there will either be drama from my step-father or grandmother, or sometimes even both. My little brother doesn’t respect me (even when I teach him), and has been coddled to the point that he now has behavioral issues and acts like a child when he does not get his way. I don’t want to go into the graphic details of the events with these alcoholics and the annoyances of my brother’s behavior.

For the past 3 years, I have been promised college, everything that a teen/young-adult could want. The hopes of going to college on their behalf have been smashed though, as I have been falsely promised too many times. But, I don’t want to lose faith in my future, and I want to get out of this toxic situation and better myself. That is exactly where you guys can help me.

I desperately want to go to college, be independent, do things that I should have already done. I want to get an education, find a job, I want to do something with my life other than being forced to live in a toxic environment with people who knowingly refuse to take care of themselves. I want to go to medical school, and I need your help getting there. My mom had 4 opportunities to bring me to a FREE SAT and ACT test, but, instead, family matters got in the way or I was forgotten no matter how many opportunities were given to take them.

I am doing commissions that range from themes, promotions, mobile banners, icons, the list goes on.
