I'm so tall I practically am obliged to dress masculine. Clothing for women my height is far too expensive for my budget, and so I am stuck being misgendered at work and in public, no matter the effort in raising my pitch when talking.

Unisex clothing on someone as tall as me becomes instantly masculine. And I don't wear makeup often, I have a pixie cut, but had I been a few inches shorter, maybe then cishets would put me in the same box as hoodie-wearing tomboys.

I am non binary, but if I'm gonna be pinned as one of two genders, being labelled a man is like a knife to the throat. Androgyny is a privilege it seems I can't afford.

I thought I had killed this man before, but he keeps haunting me.
