Alora my eternal love <3 silly lore blast go

to keep it simple shes a City of Mist character whose the rift of Morpheus, god of dreams. Unfortunately she is narcoleptic and the methods that keep her disabilities in check often make her powers weaker </3 although she has her service dog Catcher so that helps.

Alora was originally in a game however since that campaign dissolved, I have realized i can do Silly Things with her and just am making her an oc just in the City of Mist world. Shes basically become me pointing at official City of Mist concepts i like and playing with them like toys lol

Backstory basically though, is shes basically a nursing student who is just overall pretty chill and having a normal existence. Her only close friend being her service dog Catcher, the saint bernard in the drawing. She doesn't talk to people really and is very quiet so she just lives a very content existence. THAT IS until one day when she was asleep her dorm's building set on fire, she nearly died but was rescued by a neighbor named Bri (they/them). Bri got caught in the fire and was about to die, so in a panic Alora let go for a moment, dragged them into her mind and into her dreams. Alive but incorporeal.

Alora and Bri now forced together for possibly Forever, try to get along. Bri lost their memories and with Alora's help, is trying to find out what caused the dorm fire and why Bri is so certain that it wasn't an accident.

Alora alongside this has been having dreams of a form of Morpheus who is trying to guide them to the answers they both seek, slowly revealing their true intentions of helping Alora find a way out of the city; which seems to through some magical (perhaps misty) forces, force rifts inside the city.

Still working out the details of what I want to do with her, but right now i'm likely settling on Gatekeeper antagonists (i love the Seamstress shes a little Freak) and just themes of weird confusing realities so thats fun :D
