So far Dominik's behavior post-betrayal really mirror how he was towards Rey in some aspects. Both times he's resorted to lying about the person he betrayed and how he felt towards them. It's clear that this aren't his true thoughts and feelings, it's being fed to him by someone else.

He's trying to justify his actions and I think allowing himself to believe it makes him feel better about himself. However, I also think there's a genuine underlying issue that he refuses to speak on but we'll see if it slips out with Rhea like it did with Rey. So he's going to say that she wasn't a loving gf, she tried to keep him down, she cheated with Jey Uso, etc.

(agreeing) doctor who has always been an amazing/horrible storyline, with no sense of itself and canon parts of the story which contradicts itself. whoever says it’s “good now” or it’s “too woke” now, needs a reality check. the last time i checked, doctor who has always been exploring subjects we haven’t even started exploring yet!
