Some additional notes under the cut because I oversimplified everything and I want to specify at least some things:)

Flying like a plane part - Soviets managed to build a replica of the Buran Shuttle that was made for training. And it turns out if you upgrade a shuttle with enough powerful engines it can fly like a really awkward plane. Wow. The video of it flying

The thrusters part. Those are placed at the tail part and also on the "snout".

These holes are thrusters. The space loaf can sneeze haha (You can google "RCS in shuttles" for more info)

Gravitational Slingshot explained a bit more. I described it waaay to simply but to be fair. You don’t need to know that much about orbital mechanics in order to write fics. Unless you want to explain them to all your readers every time

“Hot Rod” Rodimus’s team has a lot of members, but Megs and Mags are always the heads of the team! Megs, the legendary racer has retired, and is now babysitting coaching roddy. The manager, magnus was actually the mechanic for Megatron’s rival team back in the day. And, coincidentally, megs old time rival and mags old colleague is actually roddy's family member.

Also Bee, the current world driver's champion! Him and roddy are in different motorsport categories, but still (not really) support each other.

i NEEED NEEDD a tutorial on how you draw & design mechs bc the way you draw them is literally perfection in every way. this is from an anon who wants to make mech ocs but is unsure where to start theyre so complicated to design

dusting off my tutorial brain

my style of mech is very influenced by transformers (mix of different continuities and tf artists that I like) so I look at a lot of characters for inspiration

There's a lot of stuff you could add to it too like vents, pipes, antennas, fins, wires, joints, etc..

Alright, so— obviously, Blurr is the world champion of the year, he constantly finishing in 1st place in pretty much every season. Arcee was running 2nd in the recent race, but got overtaken by Drift on the final lap! the audacity… Also Roddy was actually been holding 3rd position for over 10 laps before he got bored and dropped back lol.

and the mechanics! Ratchet and First Aid being on Drift’s team just makes more sense in my head. Also, Lotty is on Blurr’s team but is gossip buddies with First Aid (mostly bond over how tired they are).
