genuinely it's always upset me so much how it turned into a weird internet joke about how hating making art is part of being an artist because while yeah sometimes parts of learning it can be frustrating just like learning anything can be frustrating sometimes, making art is the most fun part of being an artist. isn't it??? did you not become an artist because you LIKED making art??? and putting your heart and soul into crafting something original that only you could make??? with your bare hands??? is that not why anybody becomes an artist????? because that's definitely why I became an artist and why all my artist friends became artists and why most artists became artists

idk going from seeing tons of ppl on social media being like "tee hee the universal artist experience of hating making art" to now looking around and seeing ai scrapers being like "tee hee now that we've stolen all the real art from everyone this now means anyone can be an artist by skipping the WORST most HATED part of being an artist, which is making the art" makes me feel. empty

that's not the point, I was rewatching trigun stampede and sitting through the credits, because I didn't want to keep doing uni work, and I noticed this.

this is morse code. but I tried reading it and was left with this:

as .-.. nm?o?g ai? ed? ke?

(in the first row I wasn't sure if it was m or o as the second letter of that word, and the other row is because I couldn't figure out where the characters in the second word ended. now that I'm looking at it again I think there are four words actually. fuck)

has anyone translated this before. help

I had a klance thought

Imagine Lance getting shot from behind with a mutation chemical that turns him into a monster, and its really painful and instant.

The team tries to contact him bc they only heard him grown but nothing more and Keith decides to check it out.

When he finds lance tho

Lance is a sobbing mess hiding away from the team, tears falling uncontrollably and clutching himself and hiding his face as Keith runs into him on his way to find him.

Only Keith doesn't recognize him, and instead sees a galra(?) in Lance's paladin outfit, and thinks the galra is trying to infiltrate them by putting a shapeshifter in Lance's shoes, and he gets furious.

SO. Imagine Lance being so shameful but also relieved that Keith found him, only to be met with a sword against his throat and now has to fight for his life in this new body.

just imagine this adorable guy gushing tears and confusion as he fights off Keith and feel his trust and hopes disappear every time he's sliced
