"Computer-controlled carburetor?" You mean Electronic Fuel Injection? Oh, and he's going to need to be in a serious tuck for bullets to miss. 😂

Honda Powersports has announced the MSRP of the new Africa Twin at $12,999 for the base model with a 6-speed manual transmission and $13,699 with the DTC transmission. I knew this price would be over $10k, but I'm actually surprised it's this affordable.

THIS is exactly what Honda needs to do. Bring back the spoked wheels and a couple of limited edition candy paint colors and these take off!

My mouth actually dropped when I found this.
Then I looked a little closer and realised it is a 2012 Honda CB1100 that has been customised (by Whitehouse of Japan) to look like the original Superbike CB750.
I’m of the opinion that if Honda made them look like this, they would sell a lot more. What do you think?

Personally, I think the stock bike is gorgeous and the way to go. A small version of the classic Super Hawk. Your "Baby Hawk" is nearly café racer. Maybe you could do a mild custom or something that isn't irreversible. The money issue would be on my mind, as well. Good luck!
I am seriously debating a full restore to a stock bike or a cafe racer.
I would love to have a stock cb160 but I have also wanted cafe racer for a long time. I think I could let the cafe racer project wait and spend less money to restore this bike to its original stock condition. I mean it is a classic.
Opinions?

Earlier this week I ventured to a local motorcycle "graveyard" - Archway International Motorcycle Salvage - to find a headlight bolt for my 1976 Honda CB400F. Luckily, I found exactly what I needed off a parts bike, a Honda CB360T.

Marianne Faithfull plays Rebecca, a bored, newly–married housewife with a sense of adventure, in the 1968 film, "Girl on a Motorcycle." In this scene she tries out the seat on her husband Daniel's (Alain Delon) prized motorbike as she plots her escape from her life of normalcy.

Nearly a year ago, I picked up this 1976 Honda CB400F Super Sport project. The bike runs and has just over 21,000 miles, but needs work to be a driver and even more work to be a looker. Over the winter I did an oil change and changed the plugs. My plan is to keep it mostly stock as possible as aesthetically they are gorgeous bikes on their own. Can't wait to get this on the road! Needs: Head gasket Carburetor kits and syncing Front Brake Caliper rebuild Master Cylinder rebuild Fork seals Key cylinder Rear turn signals New tires New battery
