Crapple TV
This is by far the worst of the Apple products that I've used. It barely works half the time and I would like to say that it is a waste of money. Let me start on the device itself. It has great on board memory but the choices that you have for programming are incredebly limited. If you want reagular TV shows and movies you can chose eather Netflix or Hulu along side other streaming services but if you want live TV your out of luck. The Optimum app isn't compatible even if you screen mirror. Speaking of screen mirroring it rarely works but when it does it is terrible. The picture is upscaled to the point where it's blurry and almost unwatchable. It's other function is Air Play whis is equally as bad. It actually isn't compatable with a lot of media players and is really picky when it comes to HTML based players. Do not waste your money on this device!

PalmOS for the Nintendo DS family
Some of my older readers may remember seeing or using one of these.
Tumblr media
If you don’t remember or are too young to have ever seen one I’ll quickly explain what that strange device is. That was what was known as a Personal Digital Assistant or PDA for short. It was used to do things like quickly jot down memos, keep people’s contact information, and even create calendar events with the push of a few buttons and a slide or tap of a stylus. The company that made this model was known as Palm. Their Palm Pilot line was the most popular PDA at the time before they disappeared never to be seen again but their site claims that they will return. Some say it may happen this year but who am I to spread rumors that may or may not be true. With that little history lesson out of the way I can get started with this review. So there’s a bit of a backstory here, I tend to write in my spare time and publish my works to a certain art website but my laptop is too bulky to lug everywhere and writing on my IPhone is a nightmare because of the tiny keyboard. I searched around a bit to find a solution for when I travel and eventually I stumbled across a DS homebrew app called DSOrganize. When I first opened it I quickly noticed a few similarities with the Palm Pilot series’ OS which I love.
Tumblr media
The UI was designed to feel more like a tool than a game, the icons on screen are in groups of six which make them easy to tap to launch the components but it’s clearly geared towards the original DS and DS lite with it’s built-in web browser which is a little redundant on a DSi or 3DS. The other components have the same functions as a PDA with the address book, planers, and calendar but this app is also capable of being a multimedia player but I haven’t been able to get it to work. It may be because I have moonshell installed. The main reason why I got it was for the text editor and I don’t regret installing it. The font is incredibly easy to read and the keyboard is the perfect size on my 3DS XL. The only problem is that you need a flashcard to run it. I suggest using an Ace3ds Plus. All in all it really isn’t a game as much as a tool for work. It’s incredibly useful so it’s worth getting if you want to write something when you travel, use it for your job, or just want to turn your DS into a PDA this app is for you.

Your Console’s Art Tablet
Greetings everyone on Earth and beyond I am broadcasting yet another review but it's not on a game today. I'm sure many of you have a game console in your home and you probably use it to play games or watch Netflix or Hulu but you probably don't remember that your console had an actual working art tablet. I'm taking about the Udraw game tablet from 2011 for Wii PS3 and Xbox 360. It might have been a major failure to the now defunct THQ but it's kind of grown on me.
Tumblr media
So what’s included in the box? The wii version when I got mine came with a Udraw Tablet in black and a copy of UDraw Studio: Instant Artist. There were other sets that had come with a different Udraw game which was a basic version of Instant Artist that was just called Udraw Studio which was pretty much just MS Paint for consoles. Hardware wise it was what it was packaged as, an art tablet for a console. Now it’s not like a high end Wacom tablet where there’s angle detection (as far as I’m aware) but it gets the job done really well. Now for the features that it has:
Wired Pen with two buttons that sit nicely under an index finger when drawing.
A kind of big input panel for drawing on with the pen.
Hover tracking for when you hover the pen over the tablet’s input panel
A hole it insert the pen when you aren’t using it as well as a slot in the bottom to store it completely for motion controlled features of software (On Wii version)
Tilt Control through the inserted Wii Remote or built in gyro sensors depending on the console it’s for
Analog Pressure sensitivity (Which kind of surprised me)
That’s all there is to it as far as I know. It could have more to it but it may not be being used to it’s full potential. As I mentioned earlier there are different versions of it for different consoles.
Wii:

PS3:

XBOX 360:

It didn’t have a very long life, it never had a release in Japan, and it only had 10 games. Now say you didn’t like any of the games that came out for it or you want to get more out of the tablet well there are many programs floating around online that allow you to connect your Udraw to a pc and use it as an art tablet with programs like Gimp, Photoshop, and MS Paint. Now as far as complaints go about hardware I really don’t have any except for the fact that the wrist strap storage door on the wii version is hard to close sometimes but that doesn’t affect user comfort or functionality. There is nothing wrong with it but it was considered a failure because it didn’t appeal to many people and THQ advertised it as a gaming peripheral instead of what it really was, an art tablet. So if you have one just lying around dust it off and draw something.

Doukutsu Monogatari
Before you ask what this and assume it’s a anime game ,which it’s not, pop that name into google translate. If you got Careful Story back that’s wrong. It’s Cave Story. Its a RPG that was made in Studio Pixel back in 2004 that had me playing for hours. Now if you get easily raged by hard platforming this isn’t the game for you. It is the hardest platformer that I have ever played with Mario Maker at a close second. It at times turns into a bullet hell and you only have one life to finish it. If you die you respawn at the last save point you use and you respawn exactly how you saved. In other words, it acts like you quit and reloaded at that point so you have to do things over. That aside the game is really solid, no glitches, errors, or soft locks, great story and lots of retro graphics and sound. The old PC version is freeware but if you want to get a remastered version you can get it off steam for $15. You could also get it for 3ds, wii, Switch?, PSP, Xbox, and it’s original format on the Amiga
I give it a 4.9/5

Bakugan Battle Brawlers: The Video Game
Greetings people of Earth and beyond. Where do I start with this one? Well it’s a great representation of the card game unlike it’s beat em up sequel. OK so that was just the surface of the game at hand. For anyone that is a fan of Bakugan this is a game for you. At it’s core you have a digital version of the game but it’s much more than that. With it you get a bit of a story mode which you could say is a plus for a game like this. Now this isn’t a RPG where you go around talking to NPCs and grind enemies (unless you want to but it’s not necessary), this plays like the Yugioh games where you have the game as a battle system and the NPCs talk to you when you select them to fight. Now game quality varies depending on the platform you get it on. The versions I have played are the Wii and DS versions. The wii version has beautiful graphics and the story mode cutscenes are fully voice acted but it has its drawbacks. The DS version doesn't have as good a graphics quality and the scenes use a text box unless your in battle. Now the stadium’s layouts are vastly different between the two games this is probably due to memory constraints on a disc or cartage. Now on to a specific feature that both games have, Prayas II. As you all know Prayas II has two forms, Angelos which is aquos haos, and Dioblos which is aqous pyrus. Now in the DS version they are one bakugan like this one:
Tumblr media
In the Wii version they are two different bakugan. This kind of bothers me a little. It takes the versatility out of Prayas II. Anyway other than that everything works the same. The game is great and the story is kind of deep and sometimes grips your emotions. Plus there are 4 game exclusive bakugan that you can use. My copy of the DS version came with White Naga. The bakugan was great but the trigger that opened the ball wore out rather quickly and now it doesn’t close.
Anyway I give this game 4.99 stars out of 5 because it gets kind of repetitive but it’s fun.

Welcome to the dark side of gaming
Well the time has come to slip into something darker than Epic Mickey. Emulators are here. Now on the surface emulators a just a fun little thing to have to play all your old favorites like Banjo-kazooie, Metroid, Pacman, Sonic the hedgehog, and Super Mario Bros but under that surface is something darker, GAME PIRATES and not the kind that has a peg leg and a eye-patch. Of course they are slightly evil but they give you old roms to run. Just keep in mind that uploading games like that is illegal. Emulators are kind of shaky on the legal side but they are fine to use for non-commercial uses. Anyway here are my picks for emulators
Atari: Stella
NES: rockNES
PS1: ePSXe
SNES: zsnes
N64: Project 64
PSP: PPSSPP (kind of laggy but works great)
GB/GBC/GBA: VBA-M
Game Cube: Dolphin (WARNING! INCREDIBLY LAGGY!!! DO NOT USE IF YOU HAVE A WEAK PC! Games almost unplayable on my HP 255 g1 T_T)

The best sandbox game I have ever played
Tumblr media
Hello everyone on Earth and beyond. I know I haven’t been transmitting any data for over a earth year but I assure you that I am still fully functional. Anyway you can probably tell what game I am interfaced with by the gif above. It is the greatest sandbox title that I have ever seen. The game is Garry’s Mod and it is one of the few games that has a unreasonably low price for what it is. Now what is Gmod at it’s core? It is pretty much a raw version of the Source game engine that was turned into a sandbox game. But unlike other games that are similar this one never stops evolving due to the massive community that exists to make more content beyond what Valve released. Because of this the community is what keeps it great and it does what the devs don’t want or didn’t think was needed. So if there’s something you want but it isn’t there look through the steam workshop an I can say that it will almost always be there. So all I can say is that you should try it out at least once. It isn’t very expensive compared to what’s out there now. I mean it’s only $9.99 in the US and 6.99 euros in the UK which is lower than most prices now which are between $40 and $60. Really low price I have seen it go for $3 when it goes on sale for the holidays so if you don’t like it you aren’t spending a lot but it is worth it. Well that’s all I really have to say about it. Next time we will turn to the dark side of gaming, emulators.

This is one of the best crossovers
If anyone has a Nintendo Entertainment System and had the original Mario Bros. stabyourself.net has come up with a crossover called Mari0. It's just like the original with only one difference, Mario has the Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device. There was also a Portal map pack that you can use the gun to solve tests like in portal. There is a level editor so you can make your own tests, worlds, or entire map packs. The controls are easy to remember, the portal controls are left click and right click. You can change them at any time in settings. You can also customize Mario by using a RBG (red blue green) color mixer. You can also change his hat. The only problem that I have with it is the fact that there isn't a full screen mode.
I rate this game 9.999999999999999999999999999999999999 out of 10
Here are some screen shots:
