What Happened This Week? #1
Joel Corry & MNEK’s Head & Heart stayed on top of the Official Charts with WAP coming in at 2nd and Lighter at 3rd.
Dillian Whyte was shocked by Alexander Povetkin as the Jamaican boxer got knocked out brutally after he almost knocked the Russian out twice.
Many trailers were released for movies, with DC movies The Batman, Wonder Woman 1984, The Suicide Squad and mystery Death on the Nile all getting trailers.
Meanwhile, TENET released to mixed reviews with Travis Scott leading on one of the songs ‘The Plan.’ It currently has an 8.5/10 on IMDB. It is a good movie in my opinion.
Megan Thee Stallion confirmed it was Tory Lanez who shot her and posted a picture of her gunwound on her foot on her Instagram.
Headie One released ‘Ain’t It Different’ with Stormzy and AJ Tracey, Nines released Airplane Mode and BTS released Dynamite. Migos dropped the visuals for Need It feat. NBA Youngboy and Aitch dropped the visuals for Safe to Say.
Sevilla won the Europa League in a 3-2 win over Inter which saw Lukaku score an embarrassing own goal. Bayern beat Lyon 3-0 and PSG beat Leipzig 3-0 to enter the CL finals, which will be played today.
Harry Maguire got arrested in Mykonos for a brawl and was released and 3 English players tested +ve for the virus after also going to Greece.
KSI beef with Trippie Redd started after Trippie posted on IG story after KSI said Trippie is the worst artist he has worked with. KSI responded by trashing him in his story.

After missing a week, we are back.
Head & Heart stays on top (utter dominance) with Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion moving up to 2nd as Jawsh 685 and Jason Derulo’s Savage Love falls 8 places down to 10th.
Nathan Dawe & KSI’s Lighter stays in 3rd for the 3rd week and Drake’s Laugh Now Cry Later with Lil Durk moves up to 4th as a new entry. Harry Styles’s Watermelon Sugar stays in 5th (28 weeks in the charts).
Pop Smoke and Lil Tjay’s Mood Swings moves up to 6th from 8th place, AJ Tracey and Mabel’s West Ten moves one place down to 7th, DJ Khaled and Drake’s GREECE moves up a place to 8th, Secrets by Regard & Rave moves down 2 places to 9th and Go Crazy by Chris Brown and Young Thug falls to 11th from 10th.

Official Charts: 8th August 2020
Joel Corry and MNEK’s Head & Heart kept it’s #1 spot, Nathan Dawe and KSI’s Lighter reached their highest position and Billie Eilish got her seventh UK top ten by scoring her highest record entry with My Future.
Head & Heart kept it’s position for 2 weeks in a row as Jawsh 685 and Jason Derulo’s Savage Love also stayed up at 2nd. DJ Nathan Dawe and KSI’s summer banger Lighter moved 1 place up getting both the artists their first Top 3′s. Watermelon Sugar moved up 3 places from 7 despite being released a year ago.
AJ Tracey and Mabel’s West Ten climbed 4 places up to 5th with Secrets by Regard & Rave coming in from 11th. Billie Eilish claimed the highest new entry of the week with My Future at Number 7 and Headie One and Drake’s Only You Freestyle dropped 3 places down to 8th. DJ Khaled and Drake’s GREECE went 3 places up to enter the Top 10 while Go Crazy by Chris Brown & Young Thug went 3 places up to round off the Top 10.

This Week In Football: Episode 1
Arsenal won the FA Cup and the PL is a corrupt league.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored a brace ahead of his undecided future at Arsenal as the Gunners won the FA Cup in a 2-1 triumph over Chelsea at Wembley. Christian Pulisic scored in the 6th minute before limping off in the first half. Azpilicueta’s tackle on Aubameyang led to a penalty as the Gabonese striker converted it easily as he sent Willy Caballero the wrong way. There were just too many injuries as Giroud, Azpilcueta, Pulisic and Pedro all went off and Mateo Kovacic was sent off in the 73rd minute by referee Anthony Taylor, who was accused of being biased towards Arsenal and denying Chelsea a cup win. Aubameyang scored late in the second half to get the win for Arsenal. This means another direct qualification to the Europa League for the Gooners.
Meanwhile, in the Premier League, Newcastle’s takeover fell apart after the league denied them the grant. This is a very biased terrible decision from the league because clubs from Manchester City to Chelsea have been allowed takeovers and now suddenly, it is not allowed? Also, clubs have a hand in voting if it is allowed or not and excuse me? What the actual fuck is going on here? Why do other clubs have a hand in voting for or against? Liverpool and Tottenham have already said against and for that, I hate them even more. Why can’t Newcastle get a takeover and why do the clubs get a say? If clubs got a say during Man City’s takeover, they would still be money less and title less. Just because you have money doesn’t mean others shouldn’t. I know big money takeovers and transfers are ruining football, but if one can do it, others can too.
In Serie A, the league finished with Juventus on top despite losing 3-1 to Roma without Ronaldo. Inter went 2nd, overtaking Atalanta who they beat 2-0, and whose star player Josip Ilicic has some problems. Milan beat Cagliari 3-0, Napoli beat Lazio 3-1 in a stunner and Parma escaped relegation as Lecce fell instead in a 4-3 win over the 18th placed side. Also, the SPFL started with Celtic thrashing Hamilton 5-1. Yaya Toure trained with Leyton Orient in a bizarre move, Manchester City bought Ferran Torres and are close to signing Nathan Ake, Real Madrid goalkeeping legend Iker Casillas retired, oh and finally Fulham, after narrowly edging Cardiff in a 3-2 aggregate after losing 2-1 in the second leg, came back to beat Brentford 2-1 to qualify for the Premier League. Brentford previously beat Swansea 3-1 (3-2 agg) in the second leg after losing 1-0 in the first. Sorry Brentford. The game went to extra time as Joe Bryan scored a brace for Fulham and Henrik Dalsgaard’s last minute goal couldn’t do anything for Brentford.

Official Charts (UK) - 31/7/20
Joel Corry and MNEK’s ‘Head & Heart’ topped the charts almost a month after releasing on July 3rd and KSI got his first ever Top 5 as the charts were released on July 31st of 2020.
The Corry led single went from 15th to 1st in one month after an impressive run on the charts. Jawsh 685 and Jason Derulo’s Savage Love locked it’s place on the charts as it’s still there after a month and a half of its release.
DaBaby and Roddy Ricch’s Rockstar stayed in 3rd after 5 months of charting. Nathan Dawe got his first top 10 and KSI got his first top 5 with their new summer banger called ‘Lighter’. KSI had charted Top 10 before on Down Like That and Houdini.
Headie One and Drake’s much awaited collaboration Only You Freestyle went 9 places up on the charts. Taylor Swift’s album Folklore went trending and got 3 songs in the Top 10 with Cardigan, Exile and The 1 all dominating.
Harry Styles’s Watermelon Sugar from his 2019 album Fine Line still stayed in the Top Ten despite moving 5 places down while AJ Tracey and Mabel’s latest hit West Ten went 6 places down but also sealed its place in the top for another chart week.
