Name: Lin Parker

Race: Human.

Homebase: Jadetown, Emerald City, USA

Occupation: Waitress. Vigilante. 

Lin’s mother Mei Ling was Chinese and her father James was an American soldier stationed in Shanghai - her mother left her family and moved to the US with James when she was pregnant with Lin. They lived in Emerald City until Lin was 11 when both parents died in a car accident. At the funeral her maternal grandfather showed up and told her he was taking her back to her family’s  home. Thinking that was Shanghai, she was greatly surprised when it was Yǐn Shān a mystical, mythical city hidden in the K’un Lun mountain range. She finds out her mother and their family are part of the Order of the Dragon, an ancient order who keep alive the mystical Shaolin martial arts and protect the world against evil. 

For the next decade Lin trains to become a living weapon of perfection to be accepted into the Order. However on her 18th birthday the Order still wouldn’t accept her due to her mother bringing shame on the family. She leaves Yǐn Shān and travels the world searching for the ‘answer’ she seeks - about worthiness, belonging and hoping to be presented with an opportunity to prove herself to the Order. 

She studies and trains all across the world. After years of travel she moved back to Emerald City dejected to live a “”quiet”” life. She’s a waitress at the Jade Lotus restaurant in Jadetown - funny enough the Jade Lotus and other businesses on the block are the only places that don’t pay protection money to the Golden Dragon Society due to a mysterious masked fighter with a red dragon on their jacket, who keeps beating up their thugs.

Name: Theodora Somerset.

Family: Twin brother Arthur Somerset, Father Lord Walter Duke of Somerset, Mother Eliza Somerset (deceased).

Race: High Elf.

Home: London, England (formerly Caestshire Estate, Somerset).

Class: Shadow Sorcerer.

Base of operation: Birmingham Boys gang.

The twins, Arthur and Theodora were born into an aristocratic family hiding dark and strange secrets. 

Their father Lord Walter Somerset is not only a Duke in English peerage, but also the head of a dark, underground black-magic cult. An old seer predicted that Walter would father a child with tremendous power that would eventually conquer the known world. 

As expected his wife Eliza became pregnant, what wasn’t expected was the fact that it was twins. Unsure of which child was prophesied, the twins grew up under rigorous testing and experimentation. 

Arthur was intelligent, logical and dexterous, but lacked any essence of the family magical power. Arthur excelled in stealth, archery and problem-solving. 

Theodora was charismatic, creative and gifted with incredible natural talent in powerful magic. However, she lacked the focus and mental stability of her brother.

The day before their 10th birthday a family tragedy, instigated by their cruel and villainous father, forced the twins to flee the family estate and spend the next 10 years hiding from their past. 

They became the toast of the London gang scene, joining the Birmingham Boys through their talents for tricks and thievery. The quickly became known as The Twins, a force to be reckoned with.

Name: Vana Beckett

Race: Human. 

Homeworld: Absalom Station. 

Occupation: Captain of the Fuel Rats.

Background: Former First Lieutenant of the 31st Legion of the Pact World Army; medically discharged.

Base of operation: Spaceship Nirvana, Absalom Station.

Vana Beckett was born Iyvana Aldridge of the wealth and influential Aldridge family from Absalom Station. 

After becoming disillusioned with the frivolous and wasteful lifestyle of the rich and famous Vana changed her name and joined the Stewards as part of the Pact World Army.

She found her calling as a soldier and a leader, working her way up the ranks during the war with the Swarm. 

She and her squad were ambushed one day by a legion of Swarm during what was supposed to be a simple supply run. Vana lost, not only the majority of her squadron to the raid, but also her right arm. 

After being medically discharged Vana turned to a life of being a mercenary, joining the rag-tag band of mercs called the Fuel Rats as their captain.
