New Moderators & Adjusted EXP Rates & Fixes!
Hello Runescape Classic Community,
We are happy to announce that we have brought on some new moderators to the team.
New Moderators:
The three new moderators are:
ironkiwi, who is now Mod Est.
trouble, who is now Mod Squid.
U F C, who is now Mod Ghost.
All three of these players have shown extreme dedication to the game, including loyalty, being helpful, and knowing the in's and out's of the game. We are happy to bring them onto the staff team.
Kill/Death Ratio Standards:
There was a suggestion to improve upon the Kill/Death Ratio to make it more competitive for Pk'ers. So, we have discussed it and came up with something that will make the Kill/Death highscores a little more realistic.
First, the Highscores. We have added a highscores for kills & deaths. Now, you have something to compete over.
To get a kill point, you must be skulled and the opponent that you kill must be skulled as well. So this means, if you are killing trainers that aren't skulled, you won't get a kill point for the highscores.
Now, if you are training un-skulled, you are not completely out of the woods! You will still receive a death point for your death count.
We hope this encourages more PK vs PK activity.
Adjusted Experience Rates:
As you are aware, we have different experience rates for combat and skilling. There was always a question of why we don't have magic, range and prayer as combat experience rather than skilling experience. Well, we talked it over recently and have decided to make it so that the following stats: magic, range and prayer now follow the combat experience rates. This should cause less confusion as well.
No Auction House Restriction:
There use to be a restriction on how many auction house items that could be listed. There was some work done on the backend and we are confident that listing more than those allotted items per all characters won't have any ill effect on the server so there is no more restriction!
Small Game Fixes:
- Player blocking NPC's from attacking other players is fixed. - Wilderness mage bank safe area fixed. - Zammorak Monks & other NPC's travelling too far, fixed. - Merlin Crystal bucket of wax bug fixed. - Quest point reward text fixed. - Merlin Crystal Beggar turning into Lady again to give Excalibur fixed. - Gameobjectsstuck up in underground pass has been fixed. - Jungle Potion Ardigal herb/tree issue fixed. - Ardougne agility shortcut fixed. - Clan GUI delay fixed. - Ned not giving rope for 15 GP exactly, fixed. - Fishing batch has been changed to what it was originally (normal rate). - Double click to bring up Skill GUI for Android users. - Remembering Pages and Scroll positions in bank interface. - A few database performance fixes. - Skull is now required for both the player and the opponent to recieve kill points.
Website Fixes:
- No longer lose subscription status as forum rank if your character is subscribed in game. - Performance fixes. - Able to trade in a gold or platinum subscription for a character name change
Upcoming Updates:
We are working on the Territory still. It will incorporate within our Clan System very nicely. We want it all to make sense in far as PKing goes, and RSC feel goes. We also want it to be an area which is worth fighting over in the clanwars events. It will be located in the middle of wilderness in the F2P - replacing the red deadly spider area.
We also went back to the drawing board for the Territory system, we believe that we have found a proper solution for how it's going to work. we will go with that for the release and then adjust to players liking.
Please welcome the new moderators and do go easy on them (for at least the first couple of days 馃槃).

Hello,
It鈥檚 about time we start using tumblr to keep everyone updated with everything we are doing at RSCLegacy.
Our latest update includes: doubling the amount of NPC鈥檚 (monsters) in-game so that you have enough to train on to level up. This will stay until we release the P2P map, areas, skills. Oh yeah, our P2P areas, skills, and weapons will be FREE to access. :)
Additionally, we lowered the cost of the Elixir, which gives you an experience bonus for 24 hours.
Lastly, we added two new fantastic moderators to our game to help you out and keep a solid, fun experience in-game.
