Genesis - To Live is To be Sacrificed

How poetic is it that even my own self-inflicted wounds remain out of my control? I have not had control of my life since before I was born and even still… I have none. To live is to be sacrificed. I am a canvas in which my family's mistakes are on display. Loud. Impossible to hide. No part of me has not been painted by their hands. No part of me still belongs to me. On most days, I do not feel like I have a body. On most days, I feel like a thing lying in wait for the next twist of fate to come my way. I lie in wait. A wounded thing waiting for the things that haunt me to finally claim me. The way that has been foretold. Long before I existed.

Did not expect to spend as much time with them as I did, but Kaze (who belongs to @strawberrywiitch) loves this little group so they have stuck around. What was supposed to be three sessions at most turned into 16 and counting because I know he will return to them again whenever he leaves and comes back just to see them and hang out.
