Weirdly specific question, but if Pokémon were in their world instead of like, the Pokémon world, what would Sasha and satomi “realistically” have? Love your art btw, I’m so glad I found your tumblr🤎🤎!!

First is Satomi’s team, first 2 mons would be her pet hamsters, spheal because she lives on the west coast with harbor seals, comfey because she’s from Hawai’i (Alola), and last 2 mons are just because she frequents the beach

I couldn’t think of anything really “realistic” for Sasha so i just did shiny chatot for his female eclectus parrot Schnookie and a xatu for his male parrot Hachi 😅

Does Anahita get too loud without realizing it when he’s excited? and does his expressions tend to express something entirely different from what he’s actually feeling sometimes?

Anahita is just loud in general-if anything Anahita is *too* truthful with his emotions as the emotional dysregulation champion from his ADHD (inherited from his father) that’s mostly going into fits of rage, he tries not to take this out on other people and takes to hair pulling mainly.

Silly question, Does Satomi and Sasha have any funny back and forths with eachother about some petty subject they can't let go? Like one them swearing that a word is pronounced a very wrong and specific way and the other fucking hating it.

One of the first things to come to mind is that Satomi loves horror and all things creepy, but not like horror movies, more like early creepypastas and irl paranormal happenings and 4chan and 2chan creepy threads. They love to relay this all to Sasha and show him weird pictures and he hates it because he is rather easily frightened.

Do you plan to put them into an actual story or comic or something one day or will they stay as oc’s?

I have zero experience with any type of long form writing and don't even read fiction asides from the occasional manga every few years, so they will 100% just stay as ocs

Just got introduced to you and your stuff and checked out your carrd but why do you describe Anahita as “West Asian/East Asian/Polynesian” and not “Armenian/Iranian/Okinawan/Hawaiian”?

its just for simplification since Anahita is Armenian-Persian-Tat-Japanese-Okinawan-Hawaiian, its just a bit too long for what is supposed to be his simple introduction

oc fun fact is that Sasha can barely swim at all because Mirza was very uncomfortable with the amount of nude swimmers in Germany when Sasha was growing up, this is explicitly taken from my (American) mom’s childhood from when she lived in Stuttgart
