So happy with the lighting.
I think this is my first time drawing a monstrous dragon. I usually try to make them beautiful instead of fierce or scary
I also forgot to add the blood the first time, so i had to draw it over

Cloud dragons: Their fluffy wool mane and tail help them disappear into clouds. The forehead horn contains a magic catalyst that can focus and control magic more delicately and safely than the catalyst in the back of their throat. Their bodies are incredibly light (35% of other dragons of their size), but they still require magical assistance in sitting on clouds. The older a cloud dragon gets, the better at the transmutation, enchantment, and maintenance of clouds they get. Which is quite necessary as they can get around 10 feet long in their adulthood. They often keep eggs in the wool of their tails while sleeping as assurance it won't fall through the cloud if the magic wavers.

A Dragon Oak is the result of a dragon peacefully accepting their end of days and choosing to place an acorn in their body to be transformed by their draconic magic. (Tree look determined by the seed chosen) This particular tree was produced by a rather small dragon and thus did not get very big. In the case of big dragons the skeleton is sometimes prominently visible, in others it may be covered tightly as if the dragon was sculpted from the earth.

I've drawn him so many times, but this is the first pose i've liked. I've avoided making him hold anything so far, but this made me actually rework his hands to actually make sense. Also, I usually don't put too much time into making the feet look in perspective, but kjgjkgkgkfjjf I channeled my dinosaur love into it, and I love how it came out.

Version 1: I tried doing the eyelets with arrays and used curves for the laces. 24k tris is laughable, though.
Tumblr media
Version 2: I started out with a better base instead of trying to use the foot topology. I ditched the separate eyelets and went for a more hook-eyelet style instead. The curves for laces looked good, but they were too much. I used planes instead `\(=_= )/`
I added treads to the bottom because the base was a better shape. 1.1k tris is much more manageable
