Fenton Family History

The Fenton family is old blood from Gotham, not just old blood but old mafia blood from a very old, very powerful family. The Fenton parents were love birds of gotham and had moved to be free and go to college, and then moved to Amity Park to have kids. Danny gets his powers and eventually tells his parents that he's phantom. Dan gets parole and joins the family as dannys brother and ellie join the family as dannys daghter, and they all start helping Phantom until the GIW start getting more violent. They close the portal, pack up and move back to their perents birth city, gotham. They decided to pick up the old family business and quickly became the most powerful mafia family in gotham once more.

Everyone who knew who the Fenton family before the heir disappeared was horrified to find out that ,The Jack Fenton, the love bird, had married the girl he ran away with and had kids!

The bats are in disarray as they see the Fenton family take hold of their old territory very quickly. All except for red hoods ally.

Danny goes to Gotham high now, and jass goes to Gotham U. Dan and Ellie are currently freeloaders as they don't have legal identitys yet.(the parents are working on that!)

Do with this as you will. I just had the I idea but no idea how to write it. I'm making art for this, but I am not done it and just wanted to get the idea out there for all to see.

Danny gets summoned to the watchtower, but no one actually understands how large the ghost king/ancient of space is.

Constantine goes through the motions. As far as they can tell, everything worked. The problem? The circle is still empty. Foolish of them to think they could trap an entity of such massive proportions in something so small. Or that they could trap him at all. No the king is here, Superman is aware of an additional heart beat…or well, maybe not a heart beat, a buzzing type of pulse that wasn’t there before.

It isn’t until someone turns to look out the window and see space physically ripple that they realize the being is here, he’s just all around them. To large to fit in the space station and kind enough to manifest outside the station so as not to rupture the walls and kill nearly all of them. There’s a twinkle of amusement in what they think is his eyes before the shadows consolidate and slip through the micro cracks in the hull until a much smaller being forms cloaked in the space he resides over with a crown of shifting color and a boyish smile on his face.

“Hello!” He greets, his voice sounding young and childish, but is aura ancient and powerful. “What can I do for you today?”

The Parade Performer

Every year Gotham hosts a parade where performers dress up as Gotham villains and go riding on a parade float around town while gothamites throw anything they can manage at them. These performers are paid an obscene amount for going through the abuse of every person living in Gotham. The more hated the villain the more the performers are paid, so obviously being the Joker pays the most.

Though, this doesn't matter much because every year the Joker kills the person that plays him during the parade.

So obviously Danny Fenton, a broke runaway that has already died once decides to be the Joker for the Gotham Villain's Parade.

Danny hates clowns.

Everyone in Gotham hates clowns, so he isn't special in that regard. No, he's special in that his hate for clowns does not stem from the Joker.

It's that specialty, along with the fact that he's used to people hating him his home town never really liked his protection, no matter how much they needed his help , and that he needs money to help him survive Gotham that has lead him to become a parade performer.

He joins a very short line of people who are desperate enough to dress as the worst Gotham has to offer.

He's the only one that's there for the role of the Joker.

All the people there look at him like he's a dead man walking.

He sits down and allows the makeup artist to turn him into an unrecognizable monster. She looks at Danny like she is stabbing a knife into his heart—which for all intents and purposes she is.

As he stares into the mirror he allows a change in his previous statement. He was turned into a monster for sure, but there was nothing unrecognizable about the man that had hurt every single person in Gotham City in some way.

He steps onto the float and prepares himself mentally. Whatever they say, whatever they do, they don't mean it about him. They are just taking out on him what they can't do to the man that has ruined so many lives.

Danny stands still as rotten tomatoes are thrown his way. He stands as still as a statue for all of the insults. The only time he moves is when knives and bullets rain upon him, he doesn't plan to die, not to misplaced anger.

He gets his money, it's enough that could last him into retirement. It doesn't matter too much as he is kidnapped 3 days later.

The Joker beats him with a crowbar, smashes all of his bones into pieces, and televises the whole event.

"This is what happens to those that mock me," he says, "There's only one Joker and that is me."

Danny knows he won't die, he doesn't have bones for the crowbar to break.

Red Hood doesn't know that. Jason Todd just sees a desperate kid that's about to get killed on live TV.

He loads his gun, find's the murderer that's haunted his dreams, his death, and his life. He shoots, no Bruce to stop him.

He picks up the kid and brings him to a safehouse. Jason is too late for the kid the same way Bruce was for him. He has no pulse, no breath entering his lungs. He deserves a peaceful resting place.

And then the kid's eyes open and Jason's world is turned upside down.

The Polyglot

Turns out when you become the Ghost King you get a few extra powers to go along with it. One of these powers was to not only understand, but speak every language in the multiverse.

Almost all ghosts stuck to ghost speak, which was easily understandable by all the denizens of the realms, but when you're the king apparently you also have to deal with relations to nations that lack the ability to speak the mother tongue of ghosts.

When Danny's sudden language aptitude presented itself it lead to a lot of problems. Mainly that he couldn't tell what language he was speaking in, and often swapped which one every other word.

The only language that he could speak no problem right after gaining his new power was ghost speak, which was great for talking to denizens! Not so great for talking to Sam, Tucker, and Jazz. Despite their liminality Danny's closest friends couldn't hear all the frequencies that were used in ghost speak.

Soon after discovering his problem Danny started going nonverbal, not wanting to expose himself to his fellow Amitians, or Ancients-forbid his parents.

Luckily Jazz had a solution for him! ASL

ASL was easy for Danny with his newfound ability and he didn't have to worry about constantly switching around his language mid-sentence. The movements grounded him, and he could tell immediately if he was switching to another language that didn't require a voice. Jazz had learned it in high school, wanting to be able to provide therapy to those who had more trouble hearing along with everyone else.

Sam and Tucker didn't really have prior experience with ASL, but they sure were motivated to learn. By the time they got fluent, Danny mostly had control over his polyglot ability (and started speaking again because of it), but he often forgot what language he was speaking in when he was distracted or stressed.

It was nice to be able to speak with his friends even when they couldn't understand a word coming out of his mouth.

Then Jazz, Sam, and Tucker (along with his parents) died in an explosion at Nasty Burger and he was swept into the foster care system. He got picked up by some serial adopter (what was with billionaires and wanting Danny as their son?) who lived in Gotham named Bruce Wayne.

After everyone living person Danny loved had died he was prone to being a lot more stressed which meant his languages were acting up. There was no reason for normal Danny Fenton, 17-year-old-boy to know and use 20 different languages in one conversation so he reverted to the one language he couldn't mess up.

ASL.

Hopefully his new "family" knew it (they did), would be accepting of him not speaking (they would), and most importantly didn't have a creepy basement (danny had no idea what he was getting into)!

now he just had to explain after 6 months why he was suddenly fine speaking around them

This AU is basically about what Ghosts have a different definition of what is attractive which is reversed from what humans consider beautiful.

The more pale, waxy, and lifeless you appear the more beautiful you are. Of course, every ghost has their own preference. Some prefer more greenish skin others like gray. Some like what humans consider ugly or repulsive.

Its not just looks that they are chamed by. Scarecrow is considered a heartthrob because of his ability to cause fear which to ghosts makes him a good previder, a ghost you see yourself settling down with. Strength is a deciding factor in most old-fashioned courting.

There is an inverse of this. Humans are drawn to ghosts as well. Not every ghost of course because just like some ghosts are drawn to deathly humans there are humans drawn to lively ghosts.

Ghosts that are considered ugly to other ghosts are beautiful to humans.

Danny has the misfortune of not being the hottest of ghosts. In fact undeath has made him appear downright lovely.

His skin turned into a perfect inhumane porcelain. Not a scratch, blemish, or mark. His skin was so clear and smooth you'd confuse him for a marble statue. His skin was only tinted by green-tinted blush that dusted his cheeks and shoulders.

Danny's eyes weren't creepy at all. They had rings of blue and green. If you stared into them you'd see flickering stars. You'd get lost in them rather than being paralyzed in fear. They weren't even bloodshot and no bags under them.

It was a travesty.

His fangs weren't even that big and no sharp nails on long gnarled fingers. Danny looked healthy and youthful with full cheeks and pearly teeth. You could mistake him for a model.

Lets not even mention the hair! It was silver! Soft. No flames. Not even oily and unwashed.

The other ghost found it tragic that every imperfection was erased without even a crooked tooth. How would the poor boy find a partner? Even with his power how could someone overlook the lack of fearsome traits.

Even Clockwork couldn't help but sigh. Even just a few beastly traits would help the boy. But there were none.

The problem on Danny's end was that while humans found him attractive he was a bit too attractive. Some call it uncanny, hauntingly beautiful or photoshopped. Like he walked out of a book or magazine cover. Which made him unapproachable by most people.

"He's part of the Family Business, don't worry!"

Damian was glad him and Danny were finally at the zoo, being around the animals calmed him especially since he took great care to make sure the animals were held in accomodating enclosures.

There was also Danny's frankly terrifying guardian, Damian was sure even his grandfather would fear the man. It wasn't that he looked scary, or did anything apart from scowl at him, but the moment he met the man's eyes it was like fear had a tight grip on him.

He glanced at Danny's hand, should he take it? Danny was grinning at the otters running around.

"Danny?"

"Hm?"

"Your guardian..."

"Frank? What about him?" Clear blue eyes met green ones, Damian swallowed his nervousness down.

"How are you related?" Danny looked up, as if in thought.

"Well, we aren't related, really. He's just... part of the Family Business, you know? Dad was worried and thought I shouldn't go alone to study in the crime capital." Damian nodded, that sounded normal enough. It did.

"What's your family business? I don't remember you talking about if before?"

"Ah... well..." Danny seemed to avoid his eyes. "It's more my business that my family has their fingers in as well due to overlapping interests."

"Hm." That answered nothing! Damned be Grayson! Damian should have done the background check like he initially wanted to. But no! Grayson had convinced him to have "a real expierence!"

Tt. Grayson will regret their next training session!

"But Damian don't worry! Frank is more like a bodyguard. And a cook... and maybe a maid... you know what he's most like a housekeeper. But don't tell him I said that! He's sensitive about his job!"

"Of course I would never! Come let's go see the penguin feeding."

He did it, he took Danny's hand! Okay, normal breathing, this is a date, of course they'll hold hands! If he get's a second date they may even kiss! Right now he should focus on his date, he could find out about the scetchy sounding background after. And if he had to rescue Danny from his mob family he would!

Surely father would understand that he needed to marry his beloved as soon as possible to help him. He would accept a house as their wedding gift as long as he had enough space for his animals. And Danny's meta dog of course.

I got Fright Knights name from this fic, it's a Jason is Danny's father while having to deal with Fright Knight and the fact that lazarus waters are Danny's other parent.
