Since there are really only 12 regions in Runeterra that makes the bracket a little weird, the next round of voting will be between the top six split into groups of three and then the final vote, I’m going to start with a general synopsis of the winning region before expanding on it with champion bios and redesigns

I’ve decided that a tournament style elimination would be better than just an all out poll so today I’m gonna make all the polls for the first round

INTRODUCTORY POST

Sup I’m Runeterra Rewritten but you can just call me Rune

Like my blog name suggests I’m tired of Riot Games fumbling their lore time and time again and with their frankly idiotic decision to make Arcane as the main canon before it had finished because they think it will make them more money or something, that and the fact that several champs are still stuck with their Institute Lore because they aren’t popular enough to update. So instead I’m going to do my best to make my own version of the lore that hopefully makes League fans and Champion mains happy

MY CURRENT GOALS

Give each champion as of November 27th 2024 a backstory, goal, and if need be an updated design that fits into my version Runeterra

Taking all three different versions of the main lore and meshing it into a cohesive storyline while still keeping the positive aspects of each

Attempt to give each Champion a connection to at least two other Champions and a short story

Provide each region of Runeterra an interaction chart with all of the regions nearby it

OTHER IMPORTANT INFO

My anger about the lore is directed strictly at Riot Games as a company, not any of the artists or writers who had to cave to the higher ups

I do not hate Arcane season one, so some aspects of season one from the Jinx and Vi storyline will find their way into those characters stories. Other storylines and a lot of aspects introduced in season two will probably be cut to make the world more cohesive

Right now I am one person running this blog, ONE, so if updates are slow it’s because life got in the way. However starting in January 2025 I’m going to attempt to make a post every week or so

I’m not gonna bother with all those DNI lists cause no one listens to those but as severally champions were written to be queer but were shut down by higher ups until years later I’m keeping those champions as queer. In cases where it’s more fan head-canon than canon text or subtext however I’m probably not going to incorporate that into the characters unless I think it would suit the story. TLDR: If they were intended to be gay they stay gay if it’s just a headcanon that people insist is canon they aren’t gay unless it’s a fire one so if you don’t like gay people go rewrite the lore yourself

I am an adult! And I will occasionally bring in aspects of work that may not be appropriate for some to read so all that stuff will be tagged clearly so if you click on it afterward and get upset despite reading or ignoring my warnings I’m just gonna block you, get better reading comprehension scrub.

I’m going to try and make this rewrite as objective as I possibly can but I do have favorite champions and regions and pretending I don’t would be stupid so if I focus on them too much and y’all point it out I’ll shift focus to other champs
