Hi Tumblrs! I'm Faith, 30, and still going strong since i got bit by the running bug! Started running races 5 years ago and haven't looked back! I have conquered the 5K, 10K, 15K, Half Marathon, and a Duathlon with two 5K's and an 18 mile bike. I am expecting my first child on January 31, and have committed to spinning and TRX up until my due date!
Message shortmom to have your event added to the fitblr calendar!
This won't be my blog focus (I promise) but I know I'm connected to some teachers on here so I wanted to share! Host a Jamberry Nails party in August and earn gift cards for school supplies on too of your hostess rewards! This can be an online Facebook party or an in-home party. Let me know if you're interested!Message me if you're interested
I’m hooked on my new Jamberry nails. Being able to have pretty nails and not waiting to take care of Jackson, workout, clean, etc until nails dry is fricken awesome!
I signed on to sell it bc I earned so much in hostess rewards that it didn’t cost me any more than getting the nail wraps I was already getting, so if you’re interested or want to have a Facebook party, let me know, they are buy 3 get 1 free right now!

Just the best race ever - first one with my husband and son, and first race post-baby. Kept the pace at a 9:53 average for a 30:42 5k. Still have a little ways to go to get my speed back, but it's coming!

First run out in the jogging stroller with Jackson today! It was so bright and awesome outside. 1 mile run, 2 miles walked with a few other mommies. Such a great day, although now we are getting 8-12 inches of snow tomorrow :(
Pretty sure all I'll be posting are baby pics until I'm cleared to work out again. So here we go - Jackson has many different sleeping faces. I love them all
Jackson has arrived! He was born Wednesday, 7lb 14oz and 20" long with a full head of hair! We are home and doing well, this mommyhood thing is pretty damn cool!
Is I really don't know WHAT to be aware of. Are these contractions? Is the baby just pushing painfully on an organ? What's that pain I feel when I walk? I just want my water to break so I know it's go time instead of wondering. My poor husband is so antsy to meet his little guy he's giving him pep talks on how we are an early arrival family, not late!
It’s due date day! Still no sign of baby t, but think positive, right? If he hasn’t made his arrival by tomorrow I’m counting on TRX bootcamp in the morning to bring him out!
Started my LAST week of pregnancy (if he comes by his Friday due date!) with a 50 minute walk and a TRX bootcamp class this morning. TRX, weighted squats, tabatas....we did it all. I thought it might urge Baby T out, but no new labor signs yet!
One-legged chest press at TRX. The baby must be dropping bc my sciatic pain is gone and my one legged movements at TRX are back! 38 weeks pregnant? No big deal, we got this!
I feel like a dumb dumb for asking this, but can someone direct me to where I find the number of monthly page views and number of unique visitors to my blog?
TRX Bootcamp this morning! You can't miss me in the front there in the grey striped top with obvious baby bump! Now that I have learned that I can take way more tylenol for my lower back pain than I was taking, my workouts have gotten even better! I can keep up the intensity for almost the whole class, and even managed Burpee Tabatas this morning, which haven't happened in a long time. I'm resting with a hot pack on my back now, but it was SO worth it!
