Still thinking about the guy Charles saved on the golf course, who he might’ve been to Charles, if it was his mates beating him up, if that was what started the dominos that eventually led to Charles’ death.

Still thinking about how all Charles ever wanted to do in life was make things better, and how the Night Nurse told him “you didn’t make it better, and then you died” but he literally helps people who have lost everything, and helps them solve their cold cases and find their way to the afterlife, proving the the Night Nurse wrong, because even in death, he always tries to make things better for everyone.

Charles so often stands a little bit infront of Edwin. Always protecting him, even with his body, without even knowing/realising it. It's just an instinct at this point, isn't it
