Here's how I picture Shak to go along with that cross-country road trip art I posted a month ago.

Don't usually do full body drawings much, but I had this certain image in my head of Shak with her wearing these colors so I just had to draw it.

This is honestly one of my earlier pics I did for the AU but I kept not wanting to share yet bc it wasn't done but whatever. :/ I should share anyway!

This is based on the old conversation I had with Merril Hagan about how Jayce almost had a guitar and that he was originally meant to reveal it when he raises the island on the alchemist's ship on the bow. Playing different chords would trigger different spells. I am forever heartbroken and devastated that we lost this.

I went over the scene screenshot how it originally was and just kind of added that in myself. So... I'm keeping that in my version at least bc it's sick af. I see him able to switch between a bass and guitar with the strings, but I'd like to think of this part being done with the bass and keep having this sick solo riff from this live version of Madam Rêve done by -M- (mostly the first minute and a half or so).

Actually drew Hoagie this time!

I had done this a while ago and was technically my 3rd attempt at a 3D model of him and wasn't quite finished, but I should share anyway. This time I tried a bit more with having some model refs of him on the side, but also just kind of had him how I draw him.

It's very good to have for perspective angles at least, but I am pretty proud of it anyway~ This was my 2nd attempt at something in ZBrush Core Mini, which is pretty similar to Sculptris, but not quite. Another learning curve but better in some ways. It at least doesn't crash all the time lol

Daniel Spellbound stuff that is ACTUALLY content from the show and not just my AU?? It's more likely than you think!!

"Dangerous" by LEFT BOY, was 1 of the many songs I associate with Jayce Chinda and thought it'd work good for a video with actual show clips! I'd like to do the whole song eventually maybe, but for now just wanted the loop! 1st time using Davinci Resolve 18.

Haven't done video editing since 2011 I think, but synching visual media to music make brain go brrrrr

No one in animation talks! Recently discovered that the Adventure Time X Immortals: Fenyx Rising short that I wrote won THREE TELLY AWARDS! This was a very fun project - blending the very different worlds of Adventure Time and Fenyx together. My friend, animator Joe Kubesheski, even got to design Fenyx and Cerberus to match the Adventure Time world. The short was so popular, Ubisoft eventually released an Adventure Time themed expansion pack.

Found a real blast from the past! Back in my Cartoon Network days, I was obsessed with all things Teen Titans. I even created the tagline: "Truth. Justice. Pizza." or "Fighting for Truth, Justice and the Last Slice of Pizza" if you're not into the whole brevity thing.

I could not wait to see the Puffy AmiYumi video for the theme song. When it came in... I was, let's say... underwhelmed. There were some cool visuals for sure! There was also a scene where they slowly brushed each other's hair with all the energy of a dog falling asleep after eating too much turkey. So I requested the raw footage and re-edited it into this video. This is the version that played on Cartoon Network - along with some cutdowns into a :60 and :30 version. No big surprise, but my boy Slade plays a giant part in this version. I think we got Titans Tower in there a bunch more times too. Hot damn, is this show good. With the advent of youtube, the original "hairbrush" version is the one mostly seen on the internet. Very happy I stumbled across my cut today. It's been a long time since I've seen it.

I'm all for Daniel Spellbound getting a special. Maybe it's set some time after season 2 and be a lead-in for season 3? 🤞

Bixby Prospero had a very interesting journey to her final characterization on the series. We knew we needed someone to mess with Hoagie in The Cheat Code. When we originally broke the episode, there was just a random Tracker who did not want Hoagie in The Cheat Code and messed with him as Daniel made a deal with Hector. Doc Wyatt and Kevin Burke named the character Prospero (I am guessing based off of the character in The Tempest, but I never really confirmed it with them). Prospero was a male character who had maybe three lines at most in the original script. As we continued to build out the series, we decided to hold off on some revelations about the characters to avoid major info dumps in the first two episodes. Originally, the Primus realized Hoagie was a human - but those scenes were already so long that I needed to push this revelation until later in the season. I had the idea to have a scanner that identified each person who entered The Cheat Code as a way to organically reveal what Hoagie actually was. But if everyone else in The Cheat Code was also human... it would not be that cool a reveal. Because he was already in The Cheat Code, we decided to expand out Prospero's part here and make him half-goblin. It also allowed us to begin an antagonistic relationship with Hoagie right away. I also added in the Bixby part at this stage because my dog, Bixby, was being a bit of a menace that day. As we continued to build the show out, I wanted to have more female presence. At that point, there were NO female trackers and that felt very weird. So we decided to make Bixby into a woman and changed her dialogue up. At the end, we were so happy with her, we decided to make her an all-purpose henchman. She originally was not meant to be in Season Two (in fact, she is not in the opening draft of Season Two at all). But when I heard Lynn Rafferty's awesome and funny performance, I really wanted to add in as much Bixby as possible. Originally, Bixby WAS meant to become more goblin-ed up as she became angry. But in television animation, there is always a trade-off with assets and time. I do love her design and I think she reads as more than human. But it would have been fun to push it even further.

I think Bixby Prospero in #DanielSpellbound deserved to look a bit more goblin considering being half-goblin/half-human. With and without glamour. Another character I've liked and wanted to draw more of! Also had another variant of what I feel she would look like a bit more in the middle normally, but I'm a bit torn bc I do love their design as is.. I figured the pic on the right was just having the goblin show more when heated up.

Finally drew the Daniel of Daniel Spellbound! X’D Sorry it took me so long!! He felt like designs I’ve drawn multiple times before but still was difficult for me to get down. I’d have to try drawing more lol…
