Explaining the existence of Servants and the like in a world that seemed quite alternate from his own just appeared to be more trouble than it was honestly worth at this point in time. At the mention of what these ‘Rukh’ could do, he paused, instantly hooked by one, simple statement. ❝I…can speak to one who is gone, you said? These Rukh have that kind of power?❞

     Oh…there were a few people he would have loved to hear the voice of, but there was one that came to mind the loudest. How long had it been since he had heard her? So lost in thought was he, that he nearly did not pay attention to anything else that Aladdin said. ❝Hm?❞ Blinking, he pulled himself away from that topic for a brief moment, although only brief. ❝You must be very loved by the gods to be granted the abilities you have. There are some, I am sure, that would love such a gift.❞

“Yes. The Rukh is made of all creations, living and deceased.  So even if the person I want to call forth is from a land far away, I can use your Rukh to locate that person within the Great Flow, and ask them to come to us. Your soul will tell me who I’m looking for, and if they hold strong emotion for you, they will join us.” The young boy smiles, finding his companion’s curiosity to be quite a pleasant thing. He enjoyed sharing his knowledge; it was a form of bonding in his opinion.

“Thanks for the vote of confidence, Mister. But it really isn’t that dramatic. I was created and molded to be like this by both my parents and my guardian. I was meant to be a bridge between the old and new world, and help keep an evil god and my twisted grandfather from obliterating this world entirely... hm. I guess it is pretty dramatic if I think about it, haha.” Aladdin hums pleasantly, then steps closer, invading Ozymandias’s personal space a little. He stares up at him inquisitively; blue eyes clear and curious.

“Is there someone you want to meet, Mister Ozy? I don’t mind guiding them to you for a little while.”

     AS ALADDIN MENTIONED THIS ‘Rukh’, it was as if that was all that was needed to make it more clear to his gaze – to dance about as if it were a swarm of golden butterflies. The concentration of it reminded him of mana. If anything, perhaps this was still very much the same thing just in another form and with a different name. If was beautiful in all its brilliance, the color that like the light of the sun rather than the comforting bright blue that he was used to seeing. Then again, Servants often were this color too when they faded. Truly he was fascinated. “Is it normal to see this? Wait…no, do not answer. If things are the same here like where I am from, then I suppose it would be best to say no.”

     It took a moment for him to tear his focus away from those dancing lights enough to answer Aladdin’s new question. This boy was a curious one. He nearly smirked from amusement. “A good observation! That is correct. I had several at one time.” Not that Ozymandias would tell the other how many. He imagined only royalty or the nobility could have that many, and even then, that had been abnormal even among pharaohs.

“It’s normal for people like me, but for those who aren’t Magi, they aren’t able to see the Rukh unless it’s concentrated or in a large quantity.  Every Magi is different, and has different abilities, but all four of us are loved by the Rukh, and can even make requests of it. For example, since I have Solomon’s Wisdom, I have the ability to speak to the Rukh and request one of your loved ones to come and greet you. Or I could show you a moment of your past that maybe you weren’t aware of, or don’t quite remember.” He calmly answers the question anyway. If he were a father, he’d be used to dealing with a disobedient child or two.

“Ah, how lucky. I’m sure they really love you, you are a good man. I’m envious.” He laughs childishly. “I’ve never truly met my own father or mother, but I’ve heard about them and seen them in visions.”
