He attended the same cram school as Hina and Kisaki and was placed behind the both of them in terms of academic performance.

He really admired how well Kisaki did and wanted to be like him. Kinda like how Takemichi was to Kisaki.

When he heard Kisaki became a deliquent he too followed. He’s incredibly oblivious to the kinds of things Kisaki and Hanma do, mostly because he doesn’t really focus much on gang activities.

He first joined Moebius but was kicked out after three weeks for inactivity, he then joined Valhalla a day before it was assimilated into ToMan and followed Kisaki to Tenjiku when they were all kicked out. He has a lot of barely used uniforms, his mom chews him out for it.

He became more active during his time in Tenjiku since he felt he and Kisaki were wronged by ToMan and he wanted to get back at them. His image of Kisaki shattered the moment he pulled out a gun and he realized just what he was idolizing and getting himself into.

Here’s an unfinished fake cover art i made of him, i only realized it was kinda ass when i finished the coloring lol.

As previously stated he’s mexican-japanese, he’s from the city of Merida in the Yucatan peninsula. I originally wanted him to wear clothes from that region but the traditional male wear is plain white long sleeves and pants (and a white hat) which didn’t really fit with the detailed clothes present in tokrev covers so i switched to this instead.

As to what he’ll do next i’m still thinking about it,,, it’s most likely he’ll withdraw from gang activities altogether and focus solely on his academics but it’s very interesting to think about him trying to continue Kisaki’s legacy.

Anyways backstory is still very rough and will probably change so if you have any thoughts lmk :3

got any kazutora and akkun friendship headcanons?😛

Yeah! Here are some of them being good friends!

Akkun used to get a bit nervous around Baji, he was worried Baji would get annoyed about Akkun taking Kazutora away from him or something. (Baji was always confused why Akkun was so jumpy)

Kazutora was always very touchy with Akkun, hugging him, grabbing a hold of his arm etc. It took Akkun awhile to feel comfortable doing it back to Kazutora but once he did Kazutora seemed happy with it (he was definitely touch starved).

Nobody dared mess with the mizo mid after Kazutora befriended them. The one time someone did beat them up, Akkun had to pull Kazutora off of the guy before he went too far

After finding out about Kazutora's home situation, Akkun invites him round to his house a lot.

Kazutora once suggested Akkun get a tattoo too (Akkun declined)

Kazutora is a regular customer at Akkun's salon in the future

Akkun joined Angry's band because Kazutora kept insisting he should.

Kazutora ends up venting a lot to Akkun about how he feels like Chifuyu has taken his place as Baji's best friend (this is before Kazutora and Chifuyu got close)

When Kazutora found out that Akkun had never ridden on the back of a motorbike before he got very excited to give Akkun his first ride (maybe he was a bit too enthusiastic and went a bit too fast).

Kazutora actually started liking and going to school more often after becoming friends with the mizo mid.

They have a lot of deep conversations with each other, normally when they're doing something relaxed together like watching the clouds.

Akkun frequently gets roped into any of Kazutora's schemes (mainly pranking or messing around with the other toman members).

Whenever the vice captains meet up Akkun is basically the voice of reason (along with Angry). Kazutora is the opposite whenever the captains meet.

Kazutora once offered to teach Akkun the best way to peel a person's fingernails off, Akkun declined.

And finally, they always have each others backs (Kazutora was surprised the first time Akkun jumped in front of him to protect him during a fight, despite how much weaker Akkun is).
