//I feel like I don’t have any real life friends... it’s got to be because of how I am. I feel like I can’t be myself without hurting anyone I try to be friends with. Real life has been nothing but a bitch to me. Every time I made a new friend or attempted to talk about video games, I felt so out of place. The other girls would look at me like I was crazy or stupid.

Every guy I liked ignored me, it felt like they never wanted to talk to me, even when I tried to have a normal conversation. I guess I keep things bottled in an lie to others I’m fine and that I’m strong, but when I’m alone... I cry because I really did feel alone. I thought moving out of state would change things. I made a few friends but... how do you know who is your true friend if they never contact you once to see how you are doing? I understand completely that life can be hectic at times and be a struggle, but... deep down I cry all the time unsure if I should text them how I’m feeling because I rarely hear from them. 

Sure I text them, but after that day, not a single word and it’s really hurting me. Parents say I’m too much of an antisocial and yet they don’t have a clue. I use role-play and video games as a way to have fun and distract myself from the truth that I confined myself and keep to myself because I’m not outgoing, I’m socially awkward. It doesn’t help when your parents say to you countless times, “Oh you don’t even know what stress is. Wait until your my age and then you can complain.” What do the hell do they know if their child is suffering and they are blind to see it. Upon reaching 18 I told them I was stressed, they told me those words. Upon 21 I told them I was really stressed. They told me those words yet again. Now mid 20s i told them I understood their pain and stress. Then they still say, “Wait til you're older.” It makes me feel like they don’t care or just don’t really think about what they are saying and how it’s affecting the child, or rather me.

I try to reassure myself that I am strong willed when I need to be. Though I force myself to not cry publicly so no one will think I’m weak. Sorry about this if you read it... it’s just that... it hurts when you think you have friends you can see face to face only to find out they are making fun of you behind your back or never see how you are doing.
