This two have a lot of common interest on Science and stuff, Don mainly on Technology ofc and Vein on Alchemy, the thing that makes them different is that Vein has a lot of knowledge on Yokai Science and Donnie on Human Science, turning to be the topic they talk about the most

the concept and idea of “you can always start trying to be a better person” is extremely important to me both in media and irl and i continue to be deeply deeply disturbed by the trend on this site pushing that these ideas in media are bad writing or even morally reprehensible

because theyd rather someone stay terrible or just straight up die than become a better person 

from a compassionate point of view it’s deeply distressing and from a pragmatic point of view it’s outright frustrating

I like to think at least some of the villians the turtles fight (specifically the adults) don't realize they're a bunch of teenagers. Cuz like- some probably wouldn't expect a group of (around) 15 year olds to be skilled fighters good enough to stop them each time, right?

Like- imagine being told the whole time you've been trying to 'get rid of' a group of kids, basically. Some probably wouldn't care while others might stop and think for a moment that a group of kids have been through more life or death situations than they should be.

Just a thought.
