Dragon and Clouds
As the dragon emerges from the natural landscape, the sinuous line of its silhouette mimics those of its surroundings.
This work is attributed to Sadiqi Beg, who, along with Riza‑yi 'Abbasi, was one of the pioneers of the calligraphic style of drawing in Iran.
Ink and watercolor on paper, ca. 1600, Iran (?)
