I’ve been reading shen yuan of no relation by @grubus for a while now. I drew this like back in June of last year? Shen yuan braiding binghe’s hair and the tree they would hang out at really stuck out to me. (I’m still catching up but poor yuan’s hands are still healing so here’s to hoping he can go back to braiding binge’s hair again)

i just came across your blog and noticed that you make bkdk art, but you also acknowledged their past. you also mentioned how the “he bullies you because he likes you” trope is invalidating to their development. i was just curious what you thought about them, and if you ship them (and if you do then why?). you can obviously ship whoever you want but i was just genuinely curious

ashjbsfjbsf i’m sorry i hope this hasn’t been sitting in here for a long time! I do ship bakudeku and as to why i ship them. hmmm I would have to say it’s cause i find their dynamic interesting over all. at first I didn’t really see it but from the beginning I had my radar on them both and i was bound to ship them together sooner or later. lolol I really wish i had a better answer but yeah! also thank you for being so understanding!

That’s interesting but personally I don’t see it that way. Bullies usually do bully cause they hurt inside (I have been bullied and I know for a fact that a lot of them have issues with their home life) but of course in my mind this doesn’t excuse anything. Katsuki should go to therapy, he should be punished for what he did and he was, they were extreme in my opinion, but he was. He was called ugly, his classmates were apprehensive of him, the public turned on him and viewed him as a villain, he got his ass handed to him and was picked on for a brief time(I’m referring to the bus drive to usj). In my eyes it was easy to see that he was being punished for acting the way he did and really if everything was blantent then series wouldn’t be as good as it is.

I agree with you that the anime has done some things wrong with the characterization so I really don’t have anything to say about that and yes the whole ‘bakugou bullies him cause he liked him’ thing is not my cup of tea. It invalidates any type of dynamic that they have up until this point and makes the reward of them now being friends unfulfilling. I feel like I didn’t get everything so if you’d like to have a discussion I’d love to talk.

Something that bothers me in the bnha fandom is how people say that bakugou should apologize for what he did to izuku. It isn’t the apologizing part that bothers me, cause I get that but what people fail to realize is that bakugou already apologized. Apologizing doesn’t always require that you say the word sorry. Thereare other ways of saying sorry. You see the most important thing to an apology is that there’s an action being made in order to right a wrong that someone has pointed out to said person. Katsuki’s ‘Sorry’ was when he said things were going to be different from now on and followed up on that. To me that’s as great as an apology as ever. Izuku knew what he meant and katsuki changed and that’s what matters.

Im sorry I’m writing about sti’s but honestly it’s so fascinating. This isn’t to scare people or stop people from having sex i just think it’s important to know these things and sometimes learning more about it make it less scary (it worked for me lol) okay I’ll stop.
