I need to practice more dynamic poses from reference, it's difficult to imagine how things look from unique angles. I find when I try to draw more dynamically I gravitate towards similar poses to what I've drawn before.

Well it only took me about three months but I finally got back to this lol. Pretty happy with how it turned out. I wanted a unique, visceral take on a werewolf's transformation, and settled on the monster literally clawing its way out of someone's body.

A study of a screenshot I took from an animation I liked. Funny how drawing works, I can see everything I should've done differently only right after I finished it. Still, fairly happy with how it turned out.

Experimenting with a new set of colored pencils

My phone camera with my room's light gives the photo a bit of a tint, so I'm trying out a bit of adjustment to the photo to fix that. Think it turned out pretty well.

This one's a quick sketch (like 20-30 minutes?) inspired, of course, by the Invisible Man, as well as a couple of the skill portraits from Disco Elysium.
