Sachie is still asleep (though she woke me at 4am for her pre-breakfast meal) and Tiddles is having his morning wash!

Things are going okay here in Sachies household! (after all, us humans are merely Sachies staff 😹)

Good morning everypawdy!

I just woke my human for food (4.25am) and she gave me tuna flavour! Tuna is one of my favourite foods!

So today so far is shaping up to be a good day!

The weather has remained cool which is lovely but I still get to sunbathe in my favourite spot each day!

Tiddles is doing well, he also likes to sunbathe when he can but mostly likes to sleep on my humans mums bed.

We hope you're all doing well and keeping cool if you're currently going through a heatwave!

The weather is finally cooling a bit! It's 21°c here in London, I'm feeling a lot better because of it too, it's not easy with a fur coat in a heatwave!

Good morning from the UK everypawdy!

It's been raining almost all night (my human Bambi woke up at 4am and it's been raining since then) it's a good thing! We've been in a heatwave in what feels like forever, so we needed the rain. The plants are now happy and the air smells fresh!

Hello everypawdy!

❗Update on Tiddles!❗

We took him to the vets yesterday.

They said his bloods and urine came back fine!

They listened to his heart and weighed him too. All okay!

They said he probably got ill from heatstroke (we had a strong heatwave here in the UK)

It's been relatively cooler here recently but another heatwave is predicted.

My mum has gotten 2 fans in her room to hopefully keep Tiddles cool (he pretty much lives in my mums room since she is his person 💜) as we're in the UK and don't have air con.

He is eating well, going toilet well, and purring up a storm!

He's also still taking his meds like the champ he is 🥇

Thank you those who gave us good vibes and even prayers, it meant a lot to us and to Tiddles!

Today we're taking Tiddles back to the vets for a check up, to make sure he's still improving and to find out the results of his blood test. Hopefully it will show nothing sinister is going on.

Tiddles continues to improve, he no longer has blood in his pee, he's having good bowel movements and is eating and drinking small bits here and there!

He's also still taking his meds like the champ he is! 🏅

We're so happy that he's starting to feel better again and is no longer hiding or in pain.

We're taking him back to the vets to get a check up on Tuesday, so we'll keep everyone updated. We should be getting blood results then too, hopefully they're all good!

Thank you all for your kind messages, it honestly means so much to us.

Good morning everypawdy!

It's currently 3am and we wanted to give a small updated of Tiddles.

He continues to eat little bits and drinks some water. He's taking his meds like a champ and hanging in there in this heat, and so is Sachie.

The reason I'm giving an update at 3am is because sachie woke me, she wants some food 😹

We'll continue to give you all updates about Tiddles!

Hi friends 🐈💜

This morning, Tiddles started to pee blood.

This obviously was very upsetting for me and my mum - my mum is his person and he is my mums soul cat.

We rushed him to the vets, where the vet took his temperature - it was fairly high due to the heatwave we're currently experiencing. He checked his heart, and bladder. Both seemed okay, but he said they'll need to take bloods and a urine sample to find out for certain what's going on.

So we left him with the vets.

At 6.30pm we were called to go pick him up. Bloods were okay, urine okay as far as they know, they've sent it off to test for crystals.

They gave us 2 medications to give him, and we're gonna take him back next Tuesday for a check up.

It's possible all of this is due to the heatwave going on right now. He could just have gotten heatstroke.

It's very hot here in the UK, please make sure your pets have water (maybe put ice cubes in there to make the water cooler)

Tiddles is doing a little better today. He ate some tuna, had a little water and because it's so hot he had a little treat of a frozen Lick-e-lix which we're so happy about!

We're continuing to keep a close watch over him to make sure he's steadily improving.

🐾 🐈UPDATE ON TIDDLES🐈 🐾

We took him to the ER yesterday evening. They saw us at 7.30pm. They felt his bladder and said it felt small but that's to be expected since he's hardly been drinking.

He was given an anti-sickness jab, pain medication and an appitite stimulant to hopefully help him eat.

They said if he doesn't improve by Monday, to bring him back in. Next steps are probably to do an ultrasound to make sure he's okay there.

When we got home, he had a little bit to drink, but didn't eat.

However, he spent the night on my mums bed next to her instead of hiding behind the TV like he has been doing the past couple days. So hopefully he was feeling a little better!

We have some worrying news. Tiddles hasn't eaten in 2 days now, so we're going to rush him to the ER now. We're worried he could have pancreatitis again, he's had it twice in the past.
