Just got the new plexiglass enclosure added to my latest custom built #cnc machine. This version is working exceptionally well. Cuts wood, plastic, aluminum, and even steel. It's starting to feel like summer again in the #pnw! Broke out the long fatty wheeled Fluid board. The curves may seem a little backwards but it has a nice smooth ride. The 180mm #atlastrucks with 10mm stepped axle and ball pivot along with the #sugarurethane sugar cubes definitely don't hurt either. #longboardpnw #longboarding #composites #centennialtrail #outdoors #outdoorlife

Flex test from the last #longboard post. #Sacrificialboards #composite engineering and one off, hand painted art from @bwanoface. This recipe is #canadianmaple, #fiberglass and #carbonfiber bonded with epoxy resin, 30 inch wheelbase, and only half an inch thick.. Our bouncy test subject is a trim 240 pounds and you'll notice the board doesn't make a peep when flexing. #composites #longboardpnw #longboarding #pnw #make #makersgonnamake #makersmovement #makers

Snow, long, and circuit... we do 'em all! All the #composite #longboards we make are custom shaped, hand painted designs. This one is about 3.5lbs, ultra thin, and actually designed for a 240lb dude with a light flex. I'll post a video bouncing. You'd have a hell of a time trying to break one of these. Lots of #carbonfiber hiding under the Canadian maple. The graphics on this are hand painted and always unique by @bwanoface. #pnw #longboarding #longboardpnw #dark

This is an autonomous bot I built a while back, but I just finished getting the RF module working so I can remote control it. For the robot nerds out there, I designed the pcb control board in #kicad, cnc cut the frame, 3d printed motor mounts and of course the #programming as well. The remote unit is also hand built and programmed. I'm using the nRF24 modules for tx/rx which are a bit challenging, but that was the point of the whole project. There's a lot more to do, but the hard part is done! #robotics #arduino #cnc #oshpark #diy #dotdissonance #electronics #electro #pnw #ratsnest
