It actually affected it for the better! The tourism industry in that area was good originally because of the original Swedish Wallander, but having an English language no-subs version definitely did help boost tourism in the U.K. considerably :)
Sometimes I wonder if the show Wallander affected Sweden’s tourism industry. I mean, considering it’s basically one long (and aggressively depressing) anti-tourism PSA.
