I'm specifically asking for this in regards to the post with the photos of the minotaur statue by Damien Hirst (this one). The woman's face seems to be distorted with pain, and she's being restrained and prevented from escaping by her assailant. Consent is at best extremely dubious in the situation depicted in the statue, and it's a fairly popular post that has circulated somewhat widely to people who aren't familiar with your blog.
If possible, could you tag this and other posts depicting sexual intimacy with your best guess as to what the level of consent is? I know it can be easy to forget that, and even when we do remember one person's idea of noncon can be another person's idea of a more dubcon-y scenario. Obviously it's impossible to please everybody, and I want to assure you that this isn't a personal attack! I'm not upset with you at all. The minotaur statue post just wandered across my dashboard, and because it wasn't tagged with the consent level it was... a bit upsetting for me personally to see. I realize you didn't mean any harm and that a lot of people do genuinely like the photos. Tagging it with the consent level will (I sincerely hope) help it reach more people who will appreciate it, and also help people who'd prefer not to see more iffy consent scenarios remain comfortable.
That's all! Just to reiterate: I'm not angry and I'm not trying to pick a fight with you. Having the correct tags for sexual content is just really important to me.
Hello! could you please tag your cnc and noncon content as such? Doing so can help people curate their tumblr experience a bit better. I know you warn for it in your pinned post (and thank you for doing so!) but of course sometimes a post with that content can wander across the dashboards of other users before they know your blog. Thank you in advance!
Oh shit yeah. Which one?

FYI I just came across a thread on twitter which says that an author shared on google docs an explicit story with a friend for beta reading and google removed the file due to violation of TOS (apparently it has been updated where you are not allowed to share anything with sexual content). Not sure if it’s just this instance or if it’s going to become a widespread thing but if you guys write in google docs MAKE BACK UPS!!
(Instagram link to the screenshots)
Edit: also wanted to add that it seems that Microsoft word has the same language in their TOS so onedrive is not a safe alternative!

One thing I love about the Monster x Human dynamic is the possible misunderstandings that come with being separate species.
The possible cultural differences. The awkwardness. Language barriers. Anatomy differences. Maybe they mistake a platonic gesture as romantic or you mistake a romantic gesture from them as platonic.
Maybe you accidentally touch a merperson's gills and they immediately shy away at the unexpected touch. You freak out and apologise because you think you've hurt them while they try and hide their obvious arousal at the intimate touch.
Or an alien whose skin colour changes with their mood. You notice they're always a more reddish colour when near you. When you ask them about it they get even redder and try to make something up while their friends watch and snicker cus they know exactly what that colour means.
You playfully bite your werewolf partner while cuddling and they let out a very erotic groan. Now they have to try and explain to you what marking is to werewolves while also being very horny and embarrassed.

Not enough alien x human romances with bioluminescence imo. Alien trying SO casually to keep their lights to themselves, but every time you pass by they get so overwhelmed with the need to dazzle you. As enamored as you are with the pretty lightshow they are just as much obsessed with your reaction, trying to gauge your strange human expressions for reciprocation. Not that you don't compliment them outright, but all they can do when you try is glow a different color. PLEASE show them human fireworks, or decorate your room with fairy lights, even if you didn't mean it a declaration of romance they're flashing every color of every rainbow because omg you shared your light with them even though your body isn't capable of doing it in the same way! You have an alien partner now, I don't make the rules.

I sketched out some centaur designs based on the 1910s a while back. I admit the research was pretty surface level, but it was still great fun.

We need more fat monsters. Fat vampires, fat WEREWOLVES. Fat bear werewolves would fix me. Big and burly is nice and all but it gets repetitive after awhile you know? Those dehydrated abs aren't healthy. Let's get some nutrition in these monsters.

I like stories where a normal human child is being raised by a sinister supernatural being who is totally malevolent except when it comes to their kid. Those are so much better than the “kids are scary” changeling type horror movies.
