So this is about the hashtag going around on anti mileven-like guys I have been in the fandom since the beginning and it has been through a lot of ups and downs,but THIS this is definitely the most pathetic and disappointing one,the mileven and byler vs mileven war. I’ve stayed silent and kind throughout all of this,I have taken the criticism well as-well I have tried to keep peace on both sides but I’m done. I’m breaking my silence on the issue,I need to state my opinions

1.Byler is never gonna happen

I’ve worked with a lot of writers and producers who are also stranger things fans who agree with me that it would make no sense for Shawn and the duffers to build up Mike and el for three seasons then suddenly listen to a bunch of angry fans online who hate on everyone else in the fandom and base the whole show around the ship byler,I’m so sorry I don’t,and yes this is a mileven page but mileven isn’t the reason I watch the show it’s a ship and it cannon I ship it because it’s cannon and it was written to be cannon.

2.Will might not be gay (hear me out)

We all know Will has gone through abuse both verbal and physical when his dad was around,he also witnessed abuse and is probably very traumatized by that already on top of going to the upside-down he lost a lot of his childhood and feels like he needs to catch up and I relate to that as someone who also has trauma,he might just not want a relationship yet and he probably knows he’s not ready for that level of maturity yet because he still wants to be a kid,he wants his best friends to be kids aswell he also feels left out.

3.Mike loves eleven and Will in different ways

Mike and will definitely have a strong bond but I wouldn’t say that they are best friends I would say they are more brothers considering the shit they have been through together so yes they absolutely love each other but there’s a difference Mike and wills love is brotherly while el and mikes love is romantic and soulmate like,the way the hold and look at each other is romantic and touchy they have their issues of course but that is supposed to happen it makes a relationship stronger it’s not toxic (coming from someone who has been through a very toxic on and off again relationship) Mike and el love each other.

4.The time period

I study history like a lot and it’s something I would love to go into and I’m all for LGBTQIA + rights I mean I’m apart of the community but unfortunately in the 80s people that were gay weren’t as open about it as we are today,people would often hide or ignore their feelings and marry the person that society told them to so their is a possibility of Will being gay i just don’t think that he would date because of it (Ik it’s sad)

5.the scripts online are fake

They are very fanmade never believe anything you see if it’s not published by Netflix or stranger things,the whole thing with the snowball of Mike and Will is fake
