Perhaps the stars had a different twist for the day as Mona was disrupted from her usual studies to get a necessary ingredient for an experiment. It was with some luck that the dandelion seeds required were just outside the city gates. With a small sigh, she rose from her seat and started towards the familiar entrance to the city that she could now proudly call home. At the gates, she found herself in a tiny dilemma. If she removed the dandelions from the front of the bridge, she’d make the entrance to Mondstadt lose its charm. That was something she didn’t really want to do. She rather liked how peaceful it looked with them. With a huff, she attempted to find a different pair of dandelions.
Her search had led her to a more secluded part of Mondstadt’s opening grass area. Here something startled her to a stop. It was a sound she had not expected to come across while in search of a plant. It calmed for a few seconds and resumed yet again. What was that? Some harder observation revealed a sleeping body in the middle of the grass, warmed by the sun. Her eyes squinted at the sight, slowly approaching it.
❛ Excuse me ? ❜ Her voice was a bit nervous yet soft as if half convinced to not wake the body and partly for. She landed on her knees next to the form. They seemed so peaceful. Eyes widened soon as Mona realized that the clothes on this person were not the ordinary garbs of a Mondstadt citizen. She quickly crawled away while preparing her weapon. Anything could happen when it was one of them --- the Fatui.

What fortune she had as of late. Normally, she’d be out of mora before the month was over, but due to a lack of any good astrological items being available she actually had something in her pocket. The choice was simple then. She’d have a decent meal at Wanmin restaurant and watch an opera to enjoy her time. Of course, it was hard to think about spending any mora on what wasn’t anything astrology-related, but this was fate, right?
Mona put it out of her mind for now and started on her trip. If she had it, she might as well pull out all the stops. Deep down, she was a woman of culture who could certainly make plenty mora with her talent to keep up the lifestyle, but of course... pride  was  a  difficult  thing  to  lay  down. It wasn’t too long until the sights she wanted to see went from tiny dots on the horizon to gigantic buildings towering over her. The smells of delicious foods danced in the air. They simply teased her further as her stomach rumbled with sickening desire.
Soon she was enjoying a plate full of meat in secrecy. Nobody would ever know that the great astrologist sometimes had a hankering for something other than a simple, basic salad. The taste was enough to wash away any guilt of wasting mora. It had been months since her last plate of meat. After savoring and filling herself up until satisfied, Mona walked to her next destination. She had heard the tales of a talented artist performing over all of Liyue that was about as beloved as Barbara of Mondstadt. Mona’s head tilted. Did every nation have its own musical mascot? What a silly thing.
Once Mona had her ticket settled, she waited at her assigned seat. She was not disappointed. The notes and beautiful voice held by the glorious Yunjin had her at an emotional edge. Tears were dancing on the bottom lid of her eyes, threatening to fall at any moment. As the opera proceeded to come to an end, Mona couldn’t help, but give a standing ovation. A little loud, perhaps, but talent had to be recognized!
❛ Bravo ! Bravo ! That was most wonderful ! ❜
