curls are fluffy , unkempt ——looks like she ' s got a pillow for hair . lashes are thick through her vision , eyes lidded and heavy from drinks that could possibly have a body count from the night before. and she ' s not sure how OR where she is , so anxiety soon pours into her when the other beside her raises and speaks . limbs are exposed from disheveled tartan skirt     ( such irony ! )     if she didn’t know any better , the scared girl might ’ ve actually started crying . but audrey horne is the BAD good GIRL , right ?? this is what BAD GIRLS DO ?? any other given day she would ’ ve flashed a charming smile at the word ‘princess’ , but instead she takes the cigarette , seems to suck out its very sustenance , blows smoke and KEEPS it . 

   ❝   where am i ?? i mean .. did we ——   ❞     in the movies when girls wake up next to boys that look like trouble, it usually means one thing . but she soon realized this wasn ‘ t a movie , and her palms began to itch .

Heather handed her lighter to the other girl, looking up at her warily. “Yeah, I’m from Ohio.” she explained. Her family had fled town after the last of the Westerburg Suicides, coming all the way to Twin Peaks. “My name’s Heather.”

he  somehow  expected  her  to  have  a  ginormous  bed  .  it  seems  like  something  she  would  have  simply  because  she  could  .  yet  it  isn’t  the  size  of  the  bed  that  bothers  him  ,  really  nothing  bothers  at  the  moment  and  that  is  a  good  thing  .  zach  is  just  glad  to  be  there  and  to  have  some  kind  of  company  .  

❝    okay  have  you  been  living  under  a  ROCK  your  entire  life  ??    ❞    the  male  looks  at  her  in  disbelief  as  he  sets  himself  down  and  onto  the  bed  pressing  the  play  button  .  in  fact  he  really  pays  no  attention  to  how  close  or  not  that  are  to  one  another  .  looking  at  her  zach  soon  moves  closer  to  where  there  is  minimal  room  left  between  them  and  settles  against  the  headboard  .     ❝    this  really  is  a  great  movie  .  i  love  it  .     ❞

cue small smile before elbow is at his sides with laughter when he looks at her so . 

 ❝   no ! i just .... y’ know , watch , like , other stuff.   ❞    didn't really feel like explaining it ; a twang of warmth and comfort was lulling the girl ‘sleep . title sequence    /    girl then focuses back to tv screen as the movie starts . body slips down to prop up against pillow , head below his shoulders , a yawn . —— more popcorn .  she was rather involved in the movie already when he spoke again ,    ❝     mhmmm .     ❞  girl then instinctively curls up against him , didn ‘ t even think about personal space , thinking ‘ bout  sleep and movies and popcorn and did i turn off the kitchen light ??

his  feet  echo  across  the  kitchen  floor  as  the  teenager  scurries  to  follow  behind  her  towards  the  staircase  .  dark  irises  flicker  from  one  direction  to  the  other  taking  in  the  decor  of  the  home  and  it  is  DEFINITELY  a  lot  nicer  than  his  own  home  .  giving  her  a  soft  smirk  as  they  walk  into  the  bedroom  he  simply  thinks  about  how  they  are  going  to  watch  a  movie  and  nothing  else  ,  she  might  even  fall  asleep  .  

❝    have  you  ever  seen  the  nightmare  on  elm  street  ??  i  mean  it’s  a  classic  i  feel  like  everyone  has  seen  it  .    ❞    placing  the  bag  down  and  retrieving  the  dvd  the  male  strides  over  to  put  the  movie  in  and  can’t  help  but  laugh  at  her  response  .    ❝    pretty  much  everything  is  small  for  me  so  it’s  cool  don’t  worry  about  it  .    ❞    grabbing  the  small  remote  he  makes  way  to  the  bed  and  sits  down  beside  her  working  to  make  himself  comfortable  .

naturally limbs lean into the warmth beside her . good intentions ; but girl is impulsive .   thick comforter    stuffed of goose down covers bare thighs ,. and  room is dimly lit from hanging lights . sapphires still glow-in-the-dark  however  , no matter how focused on tv screen they may be . hands dip into popcorn before settling the bowl between rosy thighs.      the girl doesn ‘ t think about the appearance of her home. ‘ knows it ‘ s  big, ‘pose it wasn ‘ t ?? what , would that change anything ?? 

    ❝    well , i haven ‘ t seen it .    ❞    she speaks matter-of-factly as head lifts up to face him ——  something humorous about the way his long legs lay on her bed .  petals part  /  a bit of laughter as butterflies sprout in stomach . he ‘ s close , in her bed . friendly . somethin ‘ funny about him . stubborn girl still won ‘ t admit that she LIKES the warmth . maybe even him too . she ‘ d never admit it , at least . not right now . but   ❝   you can scoot closer , i won ‘ t  BITE .  ❞
