“Ev you used to write all the time” “ev why haven’t you talked about your writing in a while, do you still do that?” Bro my country is falling to fascism and I’m watching the state I love and the people that caught me with open arms get crushed in the beginnings of a military police state. No. I haven’t been writing. There’s nothing to write about unless im writing about all that. And that gets exhausting sometimes. But, in honor of the San Diego protestors, shame. Shame on the whole system that is allowing this to happen. Shame on the people that voted for this. Shame on the MASKED AND NONBADGED “OFFICERS” actively kidnapping people off the street. SHAME. One of my friends and I connected over Thai bls but we were very quick to realize we’re on two different sides of the fandom. I love darker/spicier shows and she’s obsessed with tooth rotting fluff and comedies. We have about 4 overlapping shows but it’s still fun to yap together !

one of my favorite things abt being on the QL side of tumblr is how different everyone’s taste is. there’s folk who pretty much only watch Japanese bl. There’s ppl who only enjoy super fluffy, happy ending, heart melting romance. There’s buddies of mine who will watch the exact same shows as me and have wildly different opinions on them. Theres ppl who will drop shows halfway while I’m still super on board. There’s shows I really didn’t like that are other peoples’ comfort shows. There are actors I’m not the biggest fan of who people are obsessed with. I love that. I love how different we all are. It shows that there truly is something here for everyone and that there are ppl out there who love the same things you do.

(also this is why I advocate for everyone to try a show/film out for yourself even if someone doesn’t like it. Someone else’s 4 could be your 9.5)

before s2 aired I had this sinking, gut-wrenching fear that Alan was going to die for some reason. After this episode, my fear is reignited with a vengence. The way Jeff was dodgey about his phrasing of them not staying together just....

idk. I'm really afraid Alan is going to die and I've been avoiding saying it on tumblr bc that makes it feel real. But with the whole "waiting until the serum works" .... ik Babe and Charlie are doing the same thing, but they have plot buffers that protect them from sudden death. The thing about being a beloved side character is you don't have the same buffer privilages that the main characters have.

I hope I'm wrong, but it's been slowly eating away at me and lately I haven't been able to silence the voice in my head.
