Watching films is my drug. True story. Here you should find insane reblogging of dead gorgeous and talented actors either still on Earth or ... not. You might find useless comments on the films I love or watched lately as well. I love challenging myself in film marathons, I might tell my adventures too.

And to think Captain Ri Jeong Hyeok is a sweetheart and he doesn’t even know it...
Those wistful eyes and those pouty lips actually speak for themselves. The man is head over heels for Yoon Se-Ri! No need to watch the whole series to know that!

Ummmm.... hello there....
Hi....
Damn it’s been ages, guys. My last post dates back to 2016 - a lifetime ago!
So long story short, I think I’m back in the magical universe of Tumblr. Thing is, no matter how old I get, I keep getting trapped in all these fandoms but most of the times I actually have no one around me to share the goods with. And what better place than Tumblr to interact with other fans and share... stuff? I missed the interaction, guys!
To make things simple, I’ve discovered the fantastic world of Kdramas a few months ago and I’m addicted. I’m sure you know what I mean. I am definitely too old for this but hey what the heck.
So I don’t know how many of my old “followers” are still here... If some of you are still active on Tumblr, hello again. I do hope things have been well with you and that life has treated you kindly :).
For the newcomers - let’s hope I’ll be able to meet a few fans from my new fandoms otherwise it would a sad sad comeback ^^ -, hello. Let’s have fun and sink deeper in the world of fandoms.
See you on the other side!

Saw JOJ in POTO on Jan 29th 2016
Ok, that was like a month ago but I couldn’t find the time to actually sit down and write something about it. But don’t worry, since I’m a freak, I made sure to take some notes afterwards just to be sure I wouldn’t forget what I wanted to say. Yes, I’m THAT thorough.
So that was my second time seeing JOJ in POTO. The first time was on Sept 8th 2015. Like on his second day back at Her Majesty’s Theatre.
What can I say about the January performance? Well, I can say that is was BLOODY BRILLIANT. I swear I will remember it forever.
Why? Because, even if I loved the show in September, I have to admit I was a bit sceptical regarding JOJ’s performance acting-wise. Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t be able to be half of what he’s doing and it was a great show, and after all, he had been back in the role (in front of an audience I mean) like the day before. But I had that feeling that he was lacking some “finesse”.
On Jan 29th however, I found his acting absolutely flawless. He had this ability to be both threatening and heartbreaking. You could see that he had perfected his work since September. And the Final Lair left me emotionally exhausted with tears in my eyes. It was unbelievable.
As for Emmi Christensson as Christine, perfect as well. I really liked how protective of Raoul her Christine was during the Final Lair. Christine character isn’t usually what I remember most clearly after seeing the show (I admit I am an Erik Phanatic all the way) but her performance was striking.
So long story short, that was the best POTO performance I have ever been to. Ok, I’ve seen the show only three times but... I will cherish the memories forever.
TRIVIA about the Jan 29th performance:
- When Christine faints after Music of The Night, Christine actually fell to the floor. It was obviously staged, don’t worry, but for some reason the Phantom didn’t catch her in his arms this time. I wonder if it had something to do with the back problems John Owen-Jones mentioned on Twitter.
- At the end of Masquerade, they didn’t use the trap door to make the Phantom disappear. I’m not sure if the rest of the audience noticed but from my seat (on the right side in the dress circle) I clearly saw JOJ run off the stage like a bat out of hell. That was a funny sight ^^ Maybe they had some technical problems.
- During the magic trick with the throne, JOJ somehow misplaced the black cape. When Meg (Alicia Beck) ripped it off the throne, it caught the music box that was on the floor, and the music box fell in loud BANG! It actually nearly prevented her from kneeling on the floor afterwards ^^

Phantom London 8/09/2015
Just got back from one of the best evenings of my life. So let me write this right from the top of my head and forgive me if I don’t make any sense. My hands are still shaking. As expected, I was blown away by John Owen-Jones. I swear I was literally sitting at the edge of my seat everytime he appeared on stage. That man just pulls you in the show and doesn’t let you go until it’s over. And what can I say about the show in general? What a marvelous piece. I am just in love with it. From the story to the score to the staging. The intro with the theme song and the chandelier rising in the air was enough to give me goosebumps. And last but not least, and after a great inner battle with myself - and nearly chickening out -, I mustered the courage to wait for JOJ at stage door. HE FRIKING SIGNED MY PROGRAMME GUYS!!! I was a bloody stammering idiot but I think he didn’t mind LOL So long story short, I had the time of my life, can’t wait to do that again with POTO or another show. And JOJ just took a bigger place in my already crowded heart.

HOLY SHIT I’m going to POTO again.
How crazy a coincidence it is that I happen to be on a small trip in London when JOJ comes back to Her Majesty’s Theater? I just couldn’t let this opportunity pass me by!

Can someone explain how it is possible that not a single streaming link for "the railway man" is available? I mean the film was released ages ago! And I desperately want to see it.

There are lots of reasons why this film is a sheer delight. Gene Kelly in his underthings is just one of them.
