Adding onto this, Yes, I do infact agree that my watermark before august 2024 looked a lot like CA's. But I have noticed that and changed it completely. So If you mean my current watermark, I feel like you are overreacting. Because it simply doesnt even look close to the one CA has.

Listen, nobody thinks you're a worse version of CA. You are younger, still getting the hang of developing a style. It's should be something that matters to you, taking the feedback and using it to your advantage. Artists incorporate art from numerous places to develop themselves, this is totally normal. What I am telling you is that you are inspired so closely by one singular source and you are studying them so closely, it shows, right down to your watermark. In order to stand out on your own in any way, you must broaden your circle of influences. It surely will sting to hear it, but it shouldn't cause you to abandon your passions. I hope that instead of shutting down, you use my feedback to grow because you have tremendous potential.

Secondly, "You must broaden your influences" or "studying them so closely" Is insane to me. I do not "study" artists for my artstyle. I am just drawing, Idek what I am doing most of the time and theres you accusing me of studying CA's art?

I 90% of the time do not use any kind of reference, especially when drawing animals. And I even more rarily so do reference other artists art. If you believe that my art looks close to CA's, then alright. But I wont change the way I draw, because thats the most comfortable for me.

Amazing skill and love your characters, just a wee bit too much Canisalbus referencing in the style. I would love to see you develop into something more representative of your own soul and draw from a wider source of artistic inspirations.

This character is called Flare. She was my second ever wings of fire OC and is the partner Klor's.

She is transgender (MtF), making her and Klor a T4T couple.

She was rather popular growing up, mostly because of her personality. But also because of her love for protecting others. It caused her to have many "weaker" dragonet friends.

Her parents wanted her to grow up into a guard, but she chose to become a performer for festivals.
