Self love does not happen overnight. It's a daily work in progress. Some days just go horribly wrong and you can't help but beat yourself up over every little thing. But you can't let that hold you back. Sometimes you don't realize how far you've really come til you take a second to reflect and recognize the growth you've achieved. Growing up I was an insecure child. I would look in the mirror and despise the empty eyes staring back at me. One day I decided I was done feeling so low, so I picked a part of me each day to embrace. I started with my freckles which I felt made me look so young and redirected my thought process into a positive direction. My freckles are now constellations and I contain the whole universe inside my being.
