I FOUND SOME STUFF OUT.‼️

In Who Framed Roger Rabbit the movie never exactly tells us when Eddie's brother is killed, and I always wondered how recent in the past that it happend in the story. So we all know that one scene in Eddie's office where it goes past many different newspapers on the desk (FAVORITE SCENE BTW.)
I found a small part on one of these digital copies of the newspaper, that TELLS US when it happend!

It's hard to make out due to the quality, but I figured it out. The words have nothing to do with the topic at the top, but instead they explain THIS part of the story.
"Bob Hoskins as Eddie Valiant, an (can't make this part out) private investigator who holds a grudge against Toons. FIVE YEARS EARLIER, a Toon killed Eddie's brother by dropping a piano on his head."
This small part of this newspaper tells us it happend sometime in 1942, 5 years before the movie took place (1947)!
I think since this newspaper date is August 25, 1942, and Eddie's brother is still alive, that his death occurred later on in the same year

I JUST RANDOMLY WANTED TO YAP. BUT. THIS IS WHAT I THOUGHT ‼️
So the canceled sequel (The Toon Platoon) takes place in 1941, where Roger turns 18! And it takes place a couple of days BEFORE the bombing of pearl harbor (yes, that DOES happen in the script)
So his birthday is 18 - 1941, 1923 sometime in early December! The sequel takes place 6 years before the first movie so I added it and for the longest time thought he was 24.
HOWEVER!
The movie takes place on August 15 (It shows the date on the Marvin Acme newspaper)

So since it's BEFORE his birthday during the time we was framed, he was 23 when the movie took place!
I rewatched Who Framed Roger Rabbit last night and it made me wonder... How young is Roger? The human characters keep addressing him as "son", "boy", or "kid".
Late 20s early 30s, maybe? The weasels I assume are at least in their 40s and Baby Herman claims to be mentally 50...
How do toons age, anyway?
