Corpus Christi is ready to hit beach for spring break!

If there’s one thing I remember about growing up in CC it’s the time of year when college students made our beaches unlivable for the people who actually live in the city lol

I remember every night of the news during march and April we’d hear horror stories about people ODing, breaking their necks jumping off of balconies, stabbing each other and more!

I have a v love hate relationship with the beach in general but esp spring break

But CC is a former pirate/sailor so I’m sure she can handle the rowdy kiddos. Maybe she has a private beach spot she can watch the chaos from lol

Developing an idea for a comic that may or may not see the light of day, these are all sketches of idea development for it

Currently in the thumbnailing/rough drafting stage of pages but it’s looking promising.

More ideas I was developing for coloring books, this time Valentine’s Day themed!

The challenge I find w/ coloring book type drawings is coming up with visually interesting designs that still are simple enough with chunky enough lines to make it easy for coloring. I think the design on the left captured that but the design on the right could use some reworking to make a better coloring book page

A friend of mine had suggested I start selling coloring pages of my drawings and these were a couple proof of concepts for that idea.

I still like the idea of doing coloring pages but I feel like I’d have to design a whole book with multiple designs to make it worth people spending money on it and at that point idk if the profit would be worth the amount of labor. I’m still considering it just unsure how to make it profitable or if people would actually pay for it
