👥 + keo!
"I know Keo isn't always parked here, but my apartment window faces the parking lot, and I will check to see if his van is here. I'm an early bird, up and at 'em, so sometimes, if I have the time, I'll leave a bagel or donut in a container and coffee in a thermos outside his van. It's not always, less often than I would like, but I like having Keo over, and I figure that can maybe brighten his day like he brightens mine."

Hun 🌸:What words do you want to hear most when you’re upset?
"That I'm going to be alright. Some people think that's invalidating, but to me, it's reassuring coming from someone who is a shoulder to lean on."

What's their relationship status?
"Single. As it's been for a long time. I tried dabbling with dating apps, for a little while before I went to Laguna Beach in the second part of 2023, but I don't like it. It feels impersonal. I also don't actively go out to meet people, but it might be something I can get into again. Dating, I mean, even if it's a few coffee dates, just to put myself out there."

“Yeah, as in the acorn is ground down into flour. It’s not much without anything sweet added to it.” It was a hell of a lot of fun when he was a kid collecting them for one of his foster mothers, though, and definitely a free substitute for a bag of flour. It was one of his more fond memories.
There are none about lavender teas, though, so Sam might have to stop at the Driftwood stand at the festial.
“I think it means we’re on theme if we’re talking about them with the festival around the corner.” Sam helps her organize her groceries, checking the cans to make sure none of them split open. "But I'll be happy to relive the night and tell you everything I remember."
@emersonxcassidy
"Acorn...cookies?" Emerson tilted her head as she thought about it, definitely planning on looking it up when she got home. "Oh! I've had the tea though! With milk and honey. It's definitely not for everyone, but I thought it was lovely. Lavender tea is a personal favorite if we're fully into the edible botanicals conversation now."
The smile stayed on Emerson's face as Sam spoke of the upcoming wedding and she nodded at him, letting out a happy little hum. "I look forward to it. You can tell me all about it while we make flower cookies." She told him with a laugh.

“I can understand that.” Even if he thinks about all the ways he can sweat without moving - when the central air is down on a warmer summer day, he’s definitely moving minimally just to not be miserable. BUt purposefully doing it in hot yoga is a much different feel than being caught in a heatwave.
He does like the idea of a bath, specifically one with an essential oil and epsom salt. That would feel great after this.
“Please. I do better when I have someone with me, because then I’d feel guilty cancelling and letting them down. It’ll keep my attendance record flawless. Or near flawless.” He’d try, and it counts for something. “Ooh, something full of berries. But no banana, because anytime you put a banana in a smoothie, it overpowers everything in it. Would you like to come with me?”
@addisonxoconnell
"Oh yeah, it totally is. I mean it's probably a little gross but sweating makes me feel so good because it's a sign that I'm moving my body and I'm making sure I stay active. I'm a firm believer in the if you don't use it, you'll lose it mentality." You would think that would keep Addison on a more A type of person track. And maybe she would've said she'd stick to a routine more if her life wasn't thrown completely upside down.
"I'll be happy to keep joining you as much as you'll let me. Are you able to take a tub bath? I would try to do that and drink as much water as you can handle. Sometimes it works, but eh... Just think of the soreness as a battle scar." Addison preferred the solitude to a tub bath and to have a good enough reason to use the bath bombs and bubble bath she barely touches.
"What smoothie you thinking about getting?" @samucl-kane

“I think that’s something Google can probably answer. Whether you can make cookies out of flowers, like you can with acorns.” He’s never tried lavender tea or coffee himself. “I know people can make dandelion tea. It’s full of potassium. A lot of people also don’t think it’s a flower and call it a weed, so I’m not sure if that counts.”
Flower-shaped cookies are fine by him, though. He won’t have to worry about being surprised by an unwanted flavor.
Sam can’t help the way his smile turns bright with the wedding talk. He’s beyond excited for Will. Seeing him grow and flourish has been one of the greatest gifts California has given him.
“Absolutely. I’m one of the groomsmen, so even if I forget to take some, there will be photos floating around. I’ll tell you all about it when I get back from it.”
@emersonxcassidy
"Oh, gosh no. I don't think I'm that good in the kitchen. I'm not even sure how that'd taste? Although I don't mind lavender teas and coffees, so maybe a cookie wouldn't be so bad with a floral taste...I'll have to see and report back." She told him with a soft little grin. "But either way, expect some cookies coming your way soon!"
And as he mentioned a wedding on the horizon he'd be going to, Emerson's smile only grew, nodding at him, "Well that sounds fun! I've never even been to a wedding, so please have enough fun for the both of us, and then I can live vicariously through you and any photos you might take afterwards that I can browse through whilst eating the aforementioned cookies."

"Better than at New Years?"
Sam plays with the end of his tie, flipping it up and down between his fingers in a sheepish fidget. It makes sense. When he went to that masquerade, it was right after his return from Laguna Beach. He currently doesn't have that same shadow overhead.
"You're enjoying yourself, aren't you?" he comments, entertained. "I never went to my prom. Voluntarily stuck it out at home - or, well, somewhere else where I got up to trouble, so this is a first for me."
@ponderosus
Starter: @samucl-kane Where: Just outside the gym
"Look at you!" Layla, a little buzzed, had momentarily lost Kaede in the crowd and was meandering around the event until she stumbled on Sam outside. "You clean up well." She doesn't remember the last time she'd witnessed the man in a suit. It was very fascinating to everyone so dressed up regardless.

"I wouldn't forget your face," Sam greets Lucky with a grin as wide as the one he worn when he was seated to listen to his best man speech. "It's hard to when we spent the day getting ready, and standing up there before the ceremony."
For many reasons, many different parts of Lucky stuck to his memory. Sam thinks one of his favorites was watching him with Theo, and the way she looks to be the light of his world. That night was full of sweet moments like that.
"I haven't been to any weddings recently other than theirs. I guess we'll only see each other when we're dressed up for an event. You're Lemie's brother, right?"
He flips through his memory to try and place names to faces, who was a Lewis, and who was a guest brought with one being a bit more difficult to sift through after the festivities. "I didn't do much in making all the connections. Bit of a wallflower, but it's always fun watching the celebration."

"Hey! Sam!" Lucky immediately wonders if he just embarrassed himself by saying that a little too loud, his volume a direct consequence of the punch in his hand combined with his excitement to see a face that was now becoming a familiar one to him thanks to Will.
"It's me. Lucky. From the wedding."
Almost immediately, he feels compelled to make an addendum to that.
"Not my wedding, I'm not married. Will and Lemie's."

"Certainly. It was still fun, and something about the heat and sweating through it, it feels refreshing?" The last word is said with a questions, and Sam wonders if it's that or just his endorphins giving him that feeling. There is plenty enough to take from the course, and there is plenty to consider when it comes to his own physical limits.
His hobby and his career require physical shape, and after trying out Titanium, all Sam was left with was a bout of discouragement and a year long membership he has to finish paying before he can cancel.
( He should have read the fine print. )
"I think... I think maybe I would try it again. The instructor gave a lot of modifications for beginners, but I know I'm going to be sore after this. The smoothie shop might be my next stop."
@addisonxoconnell
Addison laid on her mat, completely in tuned with grounding herself to the foam beneath her as she relaxed. She didn't do many classes considering she normally liked to go at her own pace, but she felt differently about this one. A way to get the negative energy to escape, she couldn't deny the current high she was feeling at being able to accomplish one class.
"Well, that's okay. You never really know what you can do until you try. I'm sure there's a beginner class. I thought you did pretty good. I think I barely managed to keep up." @samucl-kane

CLOSED STARTER for @dilcne at the under the sea prom
"Are you enjoying yourself?"
Sam thinks he is, for the most part, but he hasn't seen Lorna on the dance floor, so he hopes she confirms she is. Her dress looks beautiful, and this has to be a throwback for her. Better than any reunion, Sam will definitely enjoy this way more than he would a reunion in Charleston.
"Are you feeling nostalgic? Or is this just a reminder of inevitable time?" he teases. "It must be fun seeing all your old friends, and how they've changed if you don't keep up with them on the regular. This would probably make me feel like it was a lifetime away."

Sam can’t help the wide grin that splits his face at Cricket’s name being mentioned. He searches for her amongst all the guests, and says, “I can get behind that idea. She has all the enthusiasm in the world, I can already picture her making sure to catch it.” He wonders if she’ll prove them right that evening.
He leans in toward Will with a slight inclination, sheepish almost. “But I’m not much of a betting man. I think it’s fun watching those trying to avoid the bouquet like it’s a death sentence.”
As though flowers can determine who is being wed next. Traditions are traditions for a reason, and he’ll watch with delight.
Just as he did with the entire ceremony.
Standing up there had been something else, Will pulls attention to that fact, and Sam can only look at his friend with adoration. “I’m glad I got to also. You made it through so much, and now you’re onto your next chapter. You deserve it.”
@willxmeyers
Will's shoulders rise and fall in quick succession. "Probably the latter," he decides before adding, "—but there is a layer of bias. Cricket's my bet. She's already got one bouquet battle under her belt." It felt like insider trading, giving Sam his information so willingly. But he wouldn't mind giving his share to his groomsmen anyway.
At the mention of his new wife, Will's lips pull wide. His eyes find Lemie across the crowd, talking to her maid of honor animatedly. "She does look pretty spectacular, doesn't she?"
It did feel triumphant. To stand up before everyone they loved and who loved them. He had never been happier, and definitely didn't feel this way at his first wedding. That felt less like a celebration and more like a death sentence.
"Thanks, mate. I'm glad you got to be up there with me. It meant a lot." More than he could put into words, probably.

“I can try my best.”
A mother’s day bouquet probably required more thought to it than just something random. Her favorite flowers mixed with colors that symbolize love from a daughter, and various other accents to make everything pop in all the best ways. “Carnations and roses are usually the go-to.
Sam gently searches through the wall of flowers. Small beads of water have collected on their leaves, having been freshly watered. “So, when I used to work here, we had a book to help with this. Or we can wing it. What’s her favorite flower?”

"Okay so, I need your help in making the best ever bouquet for my mom for Mother's Day." Gwen explained as they walked through the front door of the flower shop. She didn't necessarily have plans to spill the news of her decision to move on the special day, but she definitely wanted to keep spirits up high for when it does happen.
"Or at least help me get ideas for what to do next week."

≻ what is a cherished memory your muse holds close ?
"Does it have to be an old one? Because I think I have one more recent.
It was seeing Will's face when Lemie walked down the aisle. It was seeing the way they smiled at each other, and how they looked at each other during their first dance. It's a memory I'm not going to let go of, years from now. Every time I see him, I'll think of it, because I'm so happy for the both of them. I'm so happy seeing the person Will has grown into."

Delphinium - What are your muse’s go-to activities in their downtime?
"I'm a simple guy. I find myself out in the garden. It's my only personality trait. Or I sit out on my balcony with a cup of coffee. If Felix is out, I will stay out there and talk over our balcony railing. I'll read on occasion, but I'm not all that into books so it isn't my go-to."
