Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Date of Discovery: January 15, 2025 Review: I waited for this release since me and my friends bought tickets for Cup of Joe's Silakbo concert before this album launch, and I fell in love. To be honest, the album as a whole took me a few more listens before it stuck to me, but it did have songs that were instant hits. Before the concert, I had 5 favorite songs; after the concert, I fell in love with the whole album because I heard all of the songs live. I fucking love this album. It's such a good mix of sound and storytelling; it makes you feel so much emotion. I also love how the whole album's concept is the five stages of grief, and you can really hear the division between the songs and the stages they're associated with. This album is an experience, and it only made me love Cup of Joe more. walang tapon ang discography nila!
Favorite Songs: I love all of the songs from the album!!! my most favorites are:
Kanelang Mata
Bubog
Pahina
Multo
Hinga

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Date of Discovery: January 20, 2024 Review: I discovered this song while I was in line for UP Fair's REV concert tickets, and I'm so happy I found this album because it is really, really good. Whenever people asked me for album recommendations, this is one of the albums that I suggest. Renee Rapp's voice is just soooo good and she shows it through her songs. The album is a good mix of fun, sad, and crazy songs, and whatever you're feeling right now, you're bound to fall in love with at least one track (can relate, I'm in love with almost all of them).
Favorite Songs:
Talk Too Much
I Hate Boston
Poison Poison
Gemini Moon
Snow Angel
Tummy Hurts

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Date of Discovery: 2024 Review: I'm so glad I decided to listen to this whole album. The first song I listened to was Malleable, thanks to Zai, and it is an amazing song. I wasn't able to listen to the album immediately after I discovered that song, and I'm so mad at myself that I didn't because it is amazing. I honestly thought it wasn't going to be my taste kasi parang more on ballad yung songs nya and ballads are a hit or miss for me, but this album is full of beautiful banger ballads and I am in love with it. Really really beautiful album; perfect for when you are hurting and you want to hurt more. Favorite Songs:
Flicker
Mudroom
Malleable
Planting Flowers (my super duper fave as of the moment)
Wishes

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ Date of Discovery: 2024 Review: Not all of the songs in the album are my cup of tea, hence the kinda low rating; after a lot of listening to the album as a whole, only a few songs stuck to me. However, I still see how this is a good album. The songs that stuck to me REALLY stuck to me and have been on repeat lately.
Favorite Songs:
2001
Same Old Story
For Cryin' Out Loud! (this song has been on loop for the past few days it is such a banger)

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Date of Discovery: 2024 Review: You know what, when I first listened to this album, I already accepted the fact that it isn't going to be as good as Rina's debut album, Sawayama. However, after listening to it more for the past few days, I can now say that it is an album full of bangers. Do i love it as much Sawayama? No. I don't think Rina will be able to top that album. Hold The Girl is still such a good album though. Its overall sound is definitely different from Sawayama, and it only proves Rina's flexibility when it comes to genres. Plus, her voice is just amazing. fucking love her as always. Favorite songs/songs that stuck with me the most:
Hold The Girl
This Hell
Catch Me In The Air
Forgiveness (I especially love this one right now because of current events in my life hahaha)
